Sept. Rotation/Wed 9/22 check-in

Good morning,

I'm modifying the rotation this week because I don't have some of the workouts. This morning was Boot Camp. Can someone tell me why, oh why, is that the only workout that never gets any easier no matter how many times you do it? Lunchtime is an interval run on the treadmill. Tomorrow is IMAX2 + abs. I don't have Step Heat so I thought this was close.

Hope everyone is hanging in there. I did terrible on my diet yesterday (2 chocolate chip cookies, and at the movies - popcorn and Milk Duds ) x( But, I'm back at it today.

I understand completely how you feel about bootcamp. Those terminator killers (that's what I call them anyway) just take my breath away. The ab work is great though. Chocolate is a downfall for me too. Just do the best you can today. No harm done.

This morning was KPC for me, and maybe an afternoon run if it's not too cold. I know-first it was too hot, and now too cold. Oh well, I may just go over to the rec ctr and use the elliptical trainer.

Hey ladies! Day four of the rotation is complete :) No modifications just yet but I am considering replacing the interval run on day 6 w/some other kind of cardio. My poor knees hurt. :(

Modifications are inevitable, because we each have individual circumstances. I have been sooo tight this week that I am adding two extra 30" stretch days. I may only get in three days of cardio this week because of it, but only time will tell.

Today was Step Blast followed Karen Voights yoga flow. Nice combination.

Hi everybody -

I modified this morning and did CTX Kickbox. Tomorrow is LL. My upper body and abs have definitely shaped up on this rotation, but I'm not seeing any weight loss.

Hi everyone,

Didn't make it to the rec ctr yesterday so I did PLB last night, with heavy wts 40/45/50 and 50/55/60 for squats and plies. My legs are feelin' it today. Also added on the ab marathon-had my 14yr son do some ab work with me. He can't believe how strong I am.

Slept in this morning so will try to again to get to the rec ctr this afternoon.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that most of Cathe's rotations start of harder and get less intense by the 3rd and 4th weeks? Must be to give us slight break before starting the next rotation!

I wonder if she assumes that we are "almost dead" as time wears on!? I was going to ask everyone if they thought that the rotation got harder or easier and which was the most difficult week????

I completed day 5 this morning with no modifications so far. Tomorrow I am going to do a step blast premix with the ab marathon (my first modification b/c I don't "do" interval runs). Sunday is the first day off but I may just do SJP (Monday's workout) in its place and take Monday off b/c of my schedule. We shall see :)
 
I had to modify again this morning because I didn't have the workout, so I did Leaner Legs (ugh). I agree this workout has gotten easier this week, maybe because it was so cardio heavy. Tomorrow is Circuit Max for me.

Hi All,

This morning was Rhythmic Step for me. Not sure what I'll do this weekend, but I want to go hard on the wts. Will be traveling on business the first week of Oct., and it sounds like they only have cardio equipment in their fitness center.
