Good morning! Chris, it looks like the party was a success -- I'll bet you're exhausted today -- no work last night, I hope, right?! I have IM2 on my calendar for tomorrow -- I wonder if I somehow did what you did? I'm going to go ahead and do it since I already wrote it down. There's going to be much crossing out on my calendar since I wrote in all the STS workouts. I think I only went out about a month with the cardio since I hoped shock cardio might show up by then!
Joanne, how was the party on your end? How's Jameson? Everyone else healthy still -- well, how's your cough?
Kathy, I was so surprised to see you post yesterday -- somehow I didn't expect you back so soon. Does sound like you guys made the best of it and had a good time. Nice!
Hottie, I can't believe Joe's idea of the 4DS cardios all back to back -- what a calorie burner that would be! I want to try it sometime now, but holy cow -- that's a lot. Have you guys ever done it? I think 4DS cardio is really going to be my friend -- I think in this next month I'll be doing a lot of short cardio with a lot of stretching. I did some searching and ended up ordering that Debbie S's (of Slim Series fame) Total Body Solution dvd. I guess you're supposed to do it every other day for a month. We'll see how that goes. I talked to my friend who hurt her shoulder and she said she laid off for two weeks and that was good for her, but... given this sort of re-lapse that is in some ways worse than it felt before, I am going to try to go at least three weeks with no upper body. Hottie, it's true -- those pushups in meso 1 are not going to be your friend at all if you're having wrist issues -- you may have to skip them.
Ok, so what did I do this morning?! A crazy mix of barre work -- lots of seat stuff -- some waist & abs work (though even the ab work aggravated my neck/upper back, so I didn't do much) and stretching.
Yesterday afternoon I was feeling very low energy and then I don't know what hit me but the energy came back and I started doing the kind of cleaning that I always avoid.... you know, throwing out stuff! Whenever the kids clean up their stuff, they really just stack things up that really ought to be thrown away. I tend to not see that kind of mess after the initial cringe, and I just started going through all of it.... I got rid of so much junk -- I love that! I'm hoping I can do a little more of that today, though we do have people coming over later.
