G'Morning All!

I need to go back and reread what you all have been up to so I can get in the loop...

Power Hour for moi today, an oldie but a goodie from what I can remember - I have this one on VHS.

My lil one's asthma seems to be under control so far today, it exacerbates when she has a cold so yeah :confused: Thank goodness we have a nebulizer here as it gets used good around this season my oldest DD and DH have asthma too.

Need to get off here as my DH wants to get online.

Glad to hear your little one is feeling better. Have fun with power hour. I also have that one on VHS.

Checking in really quick I hope I have time to come back about 1PM because Cathe maybe on for a chat.

I did MIC this AM. Just when I was thinking this isn't too bad and as soon as that thought left I was thinking when is this going to end.:confused: I really didn't have a good night sleep. Too much to do today and I think I was making a list of things in my head while I was sleeping:mad::eek::mad:.

I also saw that some peeps got notification of a shipment and they think it is STS!! How cool is that for all who ordered. Sadly I have not.

Hi All! I did L&G this morning -- I love that workout! And tomorrow is low max, which is fun, also, but I know I'll be thinking "what was Debbie thinking putting these two back to back?!" :)

Re: STS.... yesterday I was reading tons of scuttlebutt on VF forum about people being mad about how long it's taking for STS and they want to cancel, etc., and I started wondering if the reason Cathe has been so quiet is that they're taking a totally different tact this time and shipping completely quietly to surprise people. Then last night I get that shipping confirmation and I really wonder if I am going nuts! But, more than anything, I think that they're shipping notification s/w probably haywire for some reason. I haven't read anything else this morning, so haven't seen what people are saying about it other than what you guys mentioned.

Chris, hang tight -- try to feel better! Vilma, I hope your daughter is feeling better. Lori, the brain going in the sleep is miserable -- hope it's better for you tonight!

Chris, I did go and read your blog. That dang fluff. Seriously, don't beat yourself up about it. You are really doing great fitting in what workouts you can. This will pass. Hang in there - you have alot on your mind with your son's diabetes and I'm sure the cardio helps relieve some of that stress. You don't have that now, so you're probably trying to alleviate it in other ways. I know your weather has been crappy, but if it's clearing up yet, try that bike ride. That might work wonders! Good luck with B & G today!

I get in the same type of funks with eating. I do well all day eating and night time it just all goes bad. For me I think it's feeling like I need to do something for myself or indulge myself because I've worked all day and then taken care of everyone else. Sometimes I don't even really want that dish of ice cream, but eat it anyway. I have gotten much better, though. Sometimes if I feel I want something, but I'm not really hungry, I'll make a big glass of Crystal Light flavored water with lots of ice and drink that and forget I wanted the food.

A couple of my boys like Big Brother, too and watch it with me. Wouldn't it be something if Jerry takes it all?? Not likely, but it would be a shock!

Beth, wow, wouldn't that be something if it was STS? It's probably not, but wouldn't it be quite the surprise if it arrived?

Iris, have fun with S&H. Are you doing a rotation? I had to laugh about your comment about MIC. I feel just about the same way!

Hi Vilma. I did Power Hour a few days ago - lots of lunges! I like that I can match Cathe's weights on just about all of it.

Oh, will all my babbling, forgot to post my workout for today! It was Butts & Guts - minus the Guts because Caitlyn woke up at 6:00am. Lots of interruptions, including she needed a tissue (three times), she couldn't breathe out of her nose, she was hungry, she needed more butter on her waffles, etc., etc. So, needless to say, I ran out of time. But, still a good workout.

Hi Everyone!

I’m sorry I’ve been MIA. I’ve been so busy lately, and today I did Imax 2 + KPC Abs Only and then I did Cleanmax and I’m beat! I’m still kind of sick, but decided to do all this anyways. MY DS is taking a nap right now so I decided to come in and check in with you girls.

Vilma: I’m glad to hear you dd is feeling better.

Lori: WTG on MIC today! Hi 5 on being able to do that workout in the morning! That’s a tough one!

Randi: Enjoy your rest day!

Kathy: with MM. I was supposed to do that workout yestday, but didn’t feel well.

Chris: Have fun with B&G. Also have fun shopping!

Iris: Have fun with S&H. I might be buying that series some day.

Beth: WTG on L&G, that’s a fun leg workout.

Joanne: WTG on B&G. A lot of you have done this workout today!

Well, now I’m off to relax because I’m so tired. Later I have to get my DD from school. Ohh, I went to the doc yesterday and he said that the prolonged heart pause was normal for a person who workouts, but I’m not sure if that’s right. He said he wants me to do an echo-stress test on the treadmill, and then an echo. We’ll see how that turns out. I hope you all have a wonderful day today! I’ll BB tomorrow if I can since I have to work tomorrow (If I feel better tomorrow).

Hi all. I'm glad everyone got such great workouts in. I'm not doing so great on that...my hope is to do something in the next two hours but in the meantime going to try and get out of my slump through CleanMax and LaundryMax. I've been so moody and going through small but frequent panic attacks because of work/grad school. And the stupid wall on the scale (I don't call them plateaus as I call them walls). Cranky cranky cranky pants.

If anyone is still on, any thoughts on what the best workout to pull you out of a bad mood is? I'm looking at C&W, BM2, LIC, and SB for favorites but I'm looking at Imax2 and MM as challenges that I would love to overcome.

On a separate note, I don't know if you guys use the daily plate but now its on livestrong: http://www.livestrong.com/thedailyplate/.

It's what I use instead of the Cathe stuff (because I have lost 40lbs through that and Cathe and this site is free)
 
Hottie, to break out of a funk, I'd recommend C&W or Imax2. Both have fun music. Hope you are feeling less stressed soon. I'm in a funk myself, so I hear ya. I actually broke down in front of my boss yesterday. She's great, so it's OK. She was asking about my daughter. I lost about 10 pounds using the daily plate. I really liked it, but haven't used it in a few months.

Ivy, hope you are feeling better and taking a nap while you have the chance!

Hi Again

I've had a "good" and "bad" day. But for me , mentally, the good outweighed the bad!!

We went out shopping, of course, spent a freakin fortune to boot. God, I'm so bad. I see things and HAVE TO HAVE THEM! I bought our 2 cats Halloween Costumes... . They are too funny. They're just hats, and they have Dinosaur spikes on them. I got one orange, and one purple. OMG... too funny!!! I get carried away with goodie bags, and prizes, etc. Oh, plus a big colorful Donkey Pinata. I love parties! :rolleyes:

On the way back, it suddenly struck me, it was just me and hubby. And we hadn't gone out to eat in a LONG time together. So we went out to lunch!! :p I guess this is the "Bad" part, because we ate at "On The Border" and I got into the chips & salsa WAY too much AND, ordered quesadillas...yummmmm! But not so good healthy-eating wise. But good HAVING FUN wise!!

Now the "Good" part: When we got home, I decided to try to bike! I used hubby's bike, which was a bit high up for me, and burned out my crotch a little, but otherwise, I rode for 52 minutes!! And I was able to PUSH it and SWEAT and BREATH HEAVY!!!! It was so fun!! It was the CARDIO I so desperately wanted!!!

I got home, and did Butts & Guts, all the way through, but skipped the high impact moves or anything that had to do with lunges (bending the back foot is NOT an option). OH! And I was able to get on SOCKS and SNEAKERS!!!

So that was my day! I feel like a slug and am dying of thirst, since I ingested a toxic amount of sodium for lunch, but I'm happy as a lark, because I got to sweat! OH! And I also biked to my beloved park!

Vilma: Hope you enjoyed Power Hour as much as I enjoyed my workout! (but I doubt it... LOL!). Glad your daughter is doing better. Poor thing!!

Lori: OMG.. MIC is TOUGH! I would never be able to do that 1st thing in the morning!!! You ROCK!!

Randi: Enjoy your rest day! Hey, that's cool that you want to be an RN! It's a wonderful job and SOOOO many places you can go with it!

Kathy: WTG on MM! That is another tough one!!

Iris: S&H is a GREAT series! I haven't done it in a while, I should try it out again.

Beth: Hi-5's on L&G!! I do believe Debbie was looking to whip our butts into shape! ;) I remember doing it last week, (or the week before)> LowMax was SOOOO much harder after L&G. The 7 or 15 repeaters BURN like crazy!

Joanne: Thanks for your encouragement. I know, I need to give myself a little break I guess. I do hate that I have those moments of weakness , AFTER the fact. During it, I'm good with it, and don't feel bad at all! LOL! And I never thought of me MENTALLY missing out on my cardio as a stress reliever! I'm sure that's IT! thanks for understanding about the crazy eating. I feel the same way about wanting to sit and relax and eat at the end of the day. The Crystal Light sounds like a good idea. I have the little individual packs sitting in my cabinet. OH! You watch Big Brother too? That would be too funny if Jerry won it all. I do think Dan played the game the best though!!Hi-5's on Butts!! That is a GREAT workout! mine was on FIRE during the floor work!

Ivy: Sorry you're feeling crummy. . I can't believe you did IMAX2 & KPC abs! Though they are both pretty fun for workouts. Hope you are feeling better....

Posting the same time as you Hottie and Joanne!

Well, I'm going to recommend a BIKE ride OUTSIDE! OMG..it just got me in the best mood (even though the bike ate through my crotch because the bike is too big! LOL!).

Maybe LIS or HIS? LIS has such fun moves too! And yes, IMAX2 has THE BEST music!

I'm with ya on the scale WALL! Hate that damn thing this week (of course my eating crap isn't helping it!)

Chris, it's great to hear you sounding so upbeat! That sounds like an all good day to me. The only bad thing was the food, but hey, you enjoyed it and had a good time with DH. That's what life is all about!! You only live once! Glad you were able to ride the bike. I'm sure it helps to know you have an option for cardio now. I don't know if I'd miss those lunges in B&G too much if I couldn't do them - they're brutal! You have to post pictures of your cats in the hats! Will they keep them on? With four kids, our poor dog has been subjected to a few "accessories". She'll actually let you put a pair of glasses or hat on her for a few seconds - just long enough for you to grab the camera, but before you can get a shot she knocks them off. That party sounds like it'll be alot of fun!

I forgot to mention before that I did an itread on the treadmill during my lunch - a 30-minute sprint one. But, then I went and got a yummy Einstein's bagel sandwich and ingested all those calories and more right back in! But, I'm going to try to eat really light for dinner.
