Been awhile since I started this thread. So here's hoping all wake up rested and ready to start a new week.

Feeling better once again although my ear feels a bit hurtful but I'm doing MM anyway.

I also have to continue w/ my PU that also went on the wayside when I got sick last week.

Kept getting up last night and didn't get that restful sleep I was hoping for - ah well can't win 'em all. :)

I seriously hope I can get back online later for personals.

Good Morning Vilma and all who follow

I did Rhythmic step this morning. I like that one. Had a great workout. I am getting my DS ready for school and then I have to take DH to get a rental car because he was in an accident Fri night. No one was hurt just his car. :( And he was at fault. :mad::eek:

Vilma have fun with MM I am glad you are feeling better. Hope your ear pain goes away.

Today will be L&G plus 25 min run, but of course I'm not going to run, so I'm going to do CTX All Step only. I might just do LG first and then cardio later after I get my dd from school. I have a meeting to attend to this morning and don't know how long it will run.

Vilma: Have fun with MM. I also hope your ear pain goes away soon :).

Lori: Oh no! I'm sorry to hear your DH was in an accident, but, I'm glad no one was hurt.

Chris: I just noticed there were 2 threads yesterday! I saw the pics of the bday and looks like you all had a great time! :D

Good Morning Ladies!

I"m so glad the heat let up ( I almost turned on the ac yesterday......), and I sweat my a** off doing step blast yesterday with the humidity! But today I have relief doing S&H Legs/Shoulders. I think someone asked me if I was doing an S&H rotation, but alas, I am doing a FF rotation, and it goes back and forth between GS and S&H. I'm on the third week and loving it!

Vilma- glad you're feeling a little better!
Ivy- Enjoy L&G!
Lori- RS is an official "mood picker upper".....my favorite! :) I'm so sorry about your DH and his car......

Vilma: I hope that ear feels better soon. Hope you have a great workout even though your tired!!

Lori: Sorry to hear that hubby was in an accident. Glad nobody was hurt. Was the car totalled? My hubby was in a fender bender back in February. He was at fault only because the car in front of him stopped short and he hit him from behind. Not fair!!

Ivy: Enjoy your workouts!!

Iris: I was sweating like crazy yesterday too. It was soooo hot and humid. I wasn't even doing cardio. I did Leaner Legs and the sweat was pouring off me..

Today will be Imax 2 for me and coremax #2. I am going to try to squeeze them in before I go teach my kids homeschool PE class this afternoon. Hubby took Lauren with him to work today so that they can go to a Washington Nationals baseball game tonight. She was excited. Not sure if it was excitement over the game or not having to do school work today!! LOL

Hi All!

Well I completed MM (that is such a nice total body workout) but some of my strength was not there; I suppose its because I'm coming off from being sick. I just missed a few reps but not much and it was towards to tail end so I guess its alright ;) My PUs also were off so I'm going to just give myself time to get back up there.

My ear is still bothering me but I know its from all the clogginess and stuffed up feeling I have gladly no body aches, chills or fever so I'm happy over that.


Lori - I read about your cousin so sorry your family is dealing with that and here's hoping all goes well.

Ouch about the car- last fall a deer totaled my dh's car on his way from work at 4am - it was scary and he ended up having to buy a new car :confused:

Ivy - Wow L&G w/ cardio? Well it's something I would do if I had the energy lol - You go on with your bad a$$ self :p


Iris - Enjoy your low humidity day - we still have the heat and humidity is at 74% So of course our a/c is still on . I look forward to being able to actually open up our windows and doors to allow some fresh air in along with not having to run our a/c on.

Kathy - Have fun w/ IMAX 2 - thats always a fun one to do.

Good morning...and today's sept 15! Because I can read a calendar, really!

Vilma, have fun with muscle max but take it easy if you feel sick.
Lori, rhythmic step looks like a lot of fun. I'm glad you enjoyed it. As long as everyone can walk away from an accident, I think its juts fine, you know? I'm glad he wasn't hurt.
Ivy, I hope you can get your cardio in after school. I know how stressful it can be when you have so many things and making time for your workout.
Iris, how can you work out in humidity?!?!? I have resigned myself with A/C bills for my workouts but I need a specific temperature and moisture level or I just can't do the workout. I'm so high maintenance. :)
Kathy, that sounds like such a great combo to do. I hope you have fun with it.
Randi, sounds like your legs had a nice good workout. You must be looking forward to your days off!


So, yesterday I did KickMax with DH. I was really cranky because I spent more than half the day in lab and I juts didn't want to move when I came home and all the NFL games didn't help. But I eventually forced both of us to do the workout which was both good for us mentally. I think we both were a little upset for not taking a good dedicated two hours but by the end of KickMax we were like, at least we did something!

Today is going to be weird. Originally, I was planning on doing C&W in the morning but we forgot some timing issues so I came in early into work. I had this rather massive experiment planned only to find that no one in my lab bothered to sterilize the tubes so I have to wait for them to come out of the oven and then dry them before using them. So, I think in a little bit I'm going to head out to my school gym for a long workout and hopefully by the time I get back, I can start my real experiment. I would love to get in C&W when I get home but that also depends on whether we're having a farewell dinner to a student who just defended last week. So, we'll see. I'll get some burn in, I just don't know how long, how intense, or when. :)

Hi all

Went with DH to get rental and the mechanic said that the damage isn't as bad as they first thought.:) Now we just have to wait on the insurance co so maybe by the end of this week he will have the car back. Not sure how this all works first accident.

After I dropped him off I got my oil change and then went to the grocery store to pick up a couple of things like milk bread napkins banana's .... and came out spending $83.00. How does that happen? One of these days I will stick to just getting what I need and not grab things that we might need. LOL I stayed away from the ice cream!!! Of course I looked but I kept on walking.:D

Vilma glad you were able to get your workout done. I am sure tomorrow you will have more energy. I started the pu challenge...I was able to do 8 in a row so I am starting with level 2. I saw they have tshirts I just might order on when I am don.;) My cousin is doing ok Mom and dad saw her yesterday. She is in ME so its a 4 hour drive. With our hockey schedule this weekend I couldn't get up to see her.

Kathy have fun with PE Do you count that as part of your work out too? On the workout manage they have an activity will running/playing with children.

Iris it was a little humid here yesterday. Today its very windy. The wind is freeking my cat out. She is such a scardy cat.

checking in late today. It's been a strange day already. I, too, had a rough night of sleep, so around 3:30 decided to get up and do body max 2. I wasn't up for a full 90 minutes, so I cut out the step portion, but kept the leg circuits, so I think it was about 70 minutes. I think that's the first time ever that I've actually thought I might like BM2 someday. :) Anyway, a couple of hours after that my little one crawls in bed with me with a sore throat -- I knew that was coming -- he had a fever last night. So, we've had a strange morning. Two games of "go fish" down already....

Just a quick check-in before I start Push/Pull Total Body Premix for 77 Minutes! I'll modify or skip moves that aggravate my foot...

I had a very difficult night at work last night. I had actually had an "easy" job. I just played support person for a new Patient Identifying system we're implementing this past week. (It's pretty cool, you barscan patient's bracelets and then their medications to make sure they match. Limits med errors!!). But the easy job didn't matter. My foot got swollen and THROBBED (think Fred Flinstone big red toe pulsating, that's what it felt like), PLUS I had a headache all night....

Came home, crashed for 5 hours, and the headache is GONE, thank GOD!!

Okay.. off to work OUT!...

Chris hows that toe of yours? Did you make it through your workout?

Beth does your DD have strep throat? Is that going around already? My son has a classmate who had whooping cough. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't get it. I don't like it when my boys miss school.

Made it through!
I actually did the Push/Pull Total Body Premix. It repeated all the exercises twice. Not too hard, actually. Only a few I grunted and grimaced on. Again, couldn't do any lunge work, and did only one set of calf raises. My foot/toe is feeling so much better, but still "smarts" when I step on it weird. Being on my feet all night last night was the worst. Can't put FULL weight on it, but I can do anything that doesn't involve bending it.

Glad you're feeling a bit better. But sounds like you're still not 100%... take it easy on yourself!! I bet MM was challenging!!

OMG.. I read some of your posts and it could be *ME* talking. Notably yesterday's when you said your intensions are good for sticking to Core, and then chocolate happens, or something else. That was my ENTIRE week last week! Let's make this week CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!! , k? Also, your trip to the grocery store. I always intend to "just pick up a few things" and spend close to $100!! :eek: .... RS IS a fun one! Sorry to hear about your DH's car wreck AND your poor cousin....

Hope L&G went ok! That's a great Lower Body workout!! It's a good idea to split up your WO's anyhow... Thanks for peaking at our party pics! They STILL haven't come to pick up the Gladiator Jousting bouncy thing, so the boys are playing on it again today!

Iris: Ahhhhh... A FF rotation! Yes, splitting up GS & S&H is a GREAT rotation! I got good results from that last time I did it!

Kathy: It was also muggy here yesterday, and into this morning. This afternoon there is a NICE breeze and it's so much cooler. YAY! for IMAX2 and Coremax!!

Randi: Good workout today! You must be psyched to get a good break from work!

Hottie: KM is an AWESOME workout yesterday! Dont' feel bad about that!!! You'll get something in, I know, i hate the uncertainty of what/when I'll do something... Watched a little of NFL yesterday. My Patriots won!!! Without their star quarterback (Tom Brady: injured) and against Bret Favre!!!

Beth: Sorry to hear YOUR daughter is sick now! I love to snuggle with my babies when they're sick, but I always catch their "cooties" when they do too! Be careful!!! BM2 shortened version at 3:30am sounds like a good move!! You nut you!!

Off to grab a snack and then cook for supper...Oh , and grab a quick shower. Lucky day! My DH took 2 of my boys to walmart with him, and my older son is at his friend's house! PEACE AND QUIET , LOVE IT!
 
Hi girls!!

Well today has been a BUSY day! I went to my meeting this morning then went to Wally World, and got home to workout at almost 2pm!! I did LG plus All Step from CTX cardio only and I must say that the cardio are so much fun on CTX. I really like that series. It was hard to do the Step workout though after LG, LOL! I should have done cardio first.

Iris: Have fun with S&H! I would like to buy that one, one day.

Kathy: Have fun with IM2! I love that workout!!

Randi: WTG on your workouts today! Enjoy the 3 days off of work! I know that’s great!

Vilma: Thanks!! It was tough to do cardio after L&G, LOL! While I was doing cardio, I was telling myself, “Why didn’t I do cardio first??” LOL! WTG on MM! Once you are feeling 100% better, you will have all your strength back.

Hottie: I was able to get the cardio in, but it was tough, DS was all over the place getting into everything, but I had to do it, lol. That’s awesome that you and you DH did KM together yesterday. I told my DH if he would PLEASE give Cathe a try just the kb workouts and weights, and he said “Maybe.” YAY!! So that’s a sign, lol! If you don’t have enough time to do all of CW try to see if it has a shorter workout for it on the premix.

Lori: That’s great that the car isn’t as damaged as they thought! I hope they fix it quick and that the insurance gets to them and you soon. I know what you mean about the grocery thing, the same thing happens to me, lol! I go for only 4 things and come back with 20, LOL.

Beth: WTG on BM2. That workout rocks!!! I hope your little one feels better soon! It must be going around every where, because me and my kids got sick about 2 weeks ago too.

Chris: WTG on SS! I’m also glad to hear your toe is doing much better! Once in a while I can feel my ankle hurting just a little bit. And I hurt my ankle about 2 months ago! I would be playing on the bouncy thing too! It looks like a lot of fun!

Well after I finish this box of vitamins I'm not getting them again.

I got the active women multivitamin pack from GNC the beginning of this month and oh boy if I take them on a slight empty stomach it wreaks havoc on my poor tummy!

Seriously Not Good! I feel so sick to my stomach.

I have no appetite so I am forcing myself to eat a carb and a protein when I remember , I took my vitamins after eating my 2 soft boiled eggs along with some toast after my workout; thinking that would be enough for those vitamins but blech I feel green and very nausous still.

Ivy & Chris - WTG! on your workouts.

Yeah I feel better but the body is slow to agree with my mind lmao
