Hi all,
For all you readers of Self Magazine can I correct a glaring error in their September 2002 Issue.
On page 119 in a short article about corn it states that in England corn is called wheat. This is grossly incorrect in England and the rest of the UK corn is corn.
We eat popcorn not popwheat
After watching a documentary following an American family holidaying the UK for the first time, they bought food over from the US because they believed amongst other things that the English ate squirrels again a very incorrect assumption. Where do they come from.
Although I will have to point out the pie and mash and mushy peas and jellied eels are eaten here (yukkk)!!
Just thought I would set the record straight.
If you want more information on UK foods just let me know.
