segments skip and repeat?

hi....
i just recieved my dvds as i was pre-viewing them.....on the low impact step....premix (lower body cardio blast....frog rolls and the ab/core work) it seems to skip and then repeat the segment ...does anyone else notice this?...it also seems to just pause a few times through out the dvd....is it defective?...thanks

not cathe here but, sounds like you have to clean your dvd player's "eye". get a dvd/cd player kit at radio shack, and gently wipe off your dvd's everytime you put them in, and never leave your tray open

After reading the breakdown of the premix from the link that Desi provided, it sounds like it's doing just what the DVD is programmed to do on this premix. And when you say it pauses, do you mean in the middle of a segment or between them? If it's between segments, that normal for a premix.

hi diane and thanks for the response....it seems to just pause in the middle of segments....but its only for a second or so.....it is a brand new dvd player....so that is why i was wondering if maybe it was the dvd player or the dvd itself??....thanks again

Sid, I have not done the ab/core premix so I can't help you there. Sorry.
