Seeking leg advice - Honeybunch?

I need some advice on strength-training, especially my legs. I am really working on upping my full-body weight workouts to three times a week. I find that my legs are extremely stubborn and respond best to the high-intensity, high-rep workouts like Leaner Legs. My question is, if I did LL on Saturday evening (around 5:00 p.m.) is too early to do it again today (Monday) around 2:00 p.m? I don't want to risk injury or muscle overload. On the other hand, should I do a different leg workout today, like PS legs, S&H, or the leg portion of MIS? And wait to do LL another day this week. On the other, other hand, should I wait until Tuesday to do another leg workout - giving me a full two days between leg workouts?
Thanks!
Caroline

I'd say it depends on how your legs feel. I couldn't possibly do LL 48 hrs after I just did it, but it makes me very sore, and I use 35 lb barbell. If I were bound and determined to do a leg workout 48 hrs after, it would be S/H as that one seems to be the easiest, since I can't lift a bar over my head that's heavy enough.
But I would wait another day, and then do PS Legs, another toughie, after I'd had plenty of rest. Maybe do cardio today, spinning would be a good leg cardio.
But this definitely all depends on how your legs feel.

I always like to mix up leg workouts, and do LL one day and do another workout like PS (with lighter weights) on the other with 2 days in between.

Be sure you try to throw in some inner thigh work on your LL day...you can just sit on a chair & grab a couple of fat pillows and squeeze them between your legs while you're mopping your brow from doing LL. Do three sets and you're done.

Can I ask why you feel you need to do three full-body weight workouts per week?

Thanks for the advice - both of you. I'm taking it!

Honeybunch, I'm shooting for three full-body workouts because I really need to increase my strength and size on the upper body, and firm up my butt and thighs. I think my cardio workouts have been too excessive and my weight workouts too inconsistent and I'm trying to reverse my approach to exercise to really shake things up with the old bod. I've been doing step and running for years almost daily and not enough weights, I think. Do you think three full-body weight workouts a week is too much?

Thanks again,
Caroline

Two per week is plenty, IMO. You're doing very thorough workouts with those Cathe tapes. It's very easy to get into the "more is better" mode when you're exercising.
