HI all! Just thought I would share that I am starting to see results again FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! :-jumpy
I figured some of you might be interested to know of some positive results with reduced cardio since there have been a lot of discussions on the topic. It makes me think about giving BodyRx a try???
I decided to cut down on my cardio thanks to some tips I have learned on this board. For the past 2 wks I have been doing 4 days of cardio a week and have been focusing more strength and endurance!!!!!!!!!
Prior I was doing cardio 5-7 days a week thinking it was the only thing that would help me lose the fat! Now I am focusing on intensity and duration of cardio versus frequency.
I went to the gym tonight to learn I lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks! I am not sure what the true cause is but I think a lot of it might have to do with the decreased cardio and focus on strength. I also just finished up an S&H rotation where I saw great results with muscle mass and definition! So, maybe the increased muscle is helping me burn the fat?? I have been focused on "burning out" 1-2 muscles per day and then 1 day of total body like PH at the end of the week.
I have also been eating a lot better and following some of the BodyRx guidelines the past 2 weeks so that could have something to do with it???
My rotation has included Circuit Max approx. 1-2 times a week plus IMAX & MIC. On the 4th cardio day I usually do one of the CTX or cardio kicks, or another fun one etc. and try to take it down a bit. I have also seen these results with a decreased step riser due to some knee problems I was having.
Anyway, it has been a fun rotation and obviously something is working! I will try to document it and share it here on the board if anyone is interested??
I know that due to the decreased frequency of the cardio my body is more pumped up to really work it hard during cardio and that I am getting more out of it! Now, I look forward to my cardio days even more than I did before.
p.s. I think I am a meso/endo or ecto/endo?? I look a lot like Cedie (well... what she use to look like... I only DREAM of looking like what she looks like in the new series!!)
