scare...

i had a bad scare at the beginning of this week. i got a note from my obgyn's office saying my dr. would no longer be practicing there as of the end of this month. as a result they are no longer offering obstetric services...OMG! i recently relocated to the area, and just found a dr. we liked. i mentioned it to another mother i met and her co-worker also goes to the same dr. (due in six weeks)...she knew where the dr. was moving her practice and was able to give me the number. in addition my dr. also left me a message to inform me yesterday...WHEW!! me and dh were worried for a bit there...THANK Goodness it worked out....

Whew, I'd have to say that was quite a scare. I'm glad you were able to stay with your doctor.

I'm glad you were able to stay with your doctor too! I've heard horror stories of women who lost their doctors near the end of their pregnancy and they weren't able to find another doctor to take them because the doctor's office would have some kind of rule of taking care of the mother from the beginning or something crazy like that. Luckily you won't have to deal with that scenario. What a relief!
