sb/spj premixes.....

Has anyone done any of the premixes that mix step and weights from both workouts?
SJP is on the rotation for today and I don't feel like doing any hi/lo, so I am looking at the premixes. The ones that got my attention are :
step & weights 63 min.
step & weights circuit 1 & 2 81 and 68 min.
weights & step 61 min

Anyone like one better than the other? Is there a real reason to do it circuit style over all the weights, then all the step or visa versa? Which is closest to doing all of SJP, other than just time wise?

Thanks so much for any opinions or suggestions. :)

Becky-
The Step and weights done circuit style is a decent circuit workout. I sometimes prefer circuits and sometimes loathe them. One benefit of doing circuits is keeping your HR elevated for a greater portion of the workout. That is helpful if you need to increase the amount of cardio you are doing. However if you are trying to gain muscle, I 'm not sure if that will help.

In the step/weight circuit premix, the step section is broken up and inserted between the weight sections. It is Ok but I felt the cardio sessions could have gone longer. I use my bike for the cardio anyway and just pause the DVD until I have a decent cardio segment completed.

PS I did the ME/BC bonus premix this week and it was similar to what you are trying to achieve. It hit all upper body secvtions one section at a time except chest and tri's were combined. And there were 2 Lower body segments per cycle! It ends with ME abs.
