Saturday is my 6 month smoke-free anniversary!!

Congrats! Its tough, but pays off! I have been one month smoke free! Last year I quit 2004, but I still had a few in 2004 when we went camping. I don't know what it was about fire, burgars, and beer......but that was when I broke down. Not my best moments of 2004, but 2005 will be a great year! :p

CONGRATS Becky!

That is something to be VERY proud of! I will be celebrating 1 year smoke free in the middle of March! It was the hardest thing I ever had to do and I feel soooo awesome about myself for having accomplished it! You go girl! :D :D :D

Have a great work out!

You can do it!:) The way I see it is that if I've made it this long with all that's happened in the past 6 months, I can make it through anything! My Dad lost his long battle with cancer before Christmas and I still stayed smoke free. Smoking is hard to quit, but it can be done!!

Congratulations Becky. Wish I could do it! I have tried before, but just didn't have the will power. I admire you for your accomplishment! Keep it up!

who-hoo Becki!!!! Keep it up Girl! You can conquer anything~ you just proved it.

And don't worry anyone else who wants to "quit" you will quit when you are ready!

You should be so proud of yourself Becky!! It was one of the hardest things I ever did. I smoked for 18 years(quit for pregnancies though). I agree that anyone else who wants to quit will do it when they are ready. It was the best things I ever did for myself and family! This June will be 2 years for me. Congrats to you!!

edited to add: I agree with Kathryn..treat yourself to something with all of that money you saved from buying cigarettes.

Many, many congratulations! I'm still working on that little bugaboo myself; I'm down to about 2 butts a day, and I know I have to ramp up the effort once again.

Keep up the good work!

Super congratulations! I'm 7 weeks smoke free after smoking for 16 years (started at 13 yeas old). I quit when I found out I was pregnant. Unfortunately, I lost the pregnancy a few weeks ago, but I decided to allow the not smoking to be something good I could take away from the experience.

I wish you all the luck in the world!
