I celebrated my birthday by doing 20 min HIIT on the nordictrack ( stairrmaster is busted}( ). After that I did biceps from: MIS-Bodymax-PH. For abs it was SJP. I started to really like that!
Happy Birthday Mari! I too came here to see if the Marathoner's had checked in yet...hope you ladies had great races!
I'm only walking today. The strep I had earlier this week has turned into bronchitis. Just what I need right now.x( I actually thought I was getting better yesterday until the wheezing started and that painful coughing. Crimony if it isn't one thing it's another. It has been so cold here still and I sit at my sons track meets with long underwear on, winter coat, hat and mittens...and I wonder why I'm sick and can't get rid of this now!!! I have a few days break from track meets so hopefully by Thursday we've had a warming trend!
Hi girls! You might read my post on another thread that Dutchie did. I had a great time. My first timed run in about 8 months. My achilles did well I felt it briefly about 5 miles then again at 11. It feels fine now, which is a good sign. Its about a 3 hour trip one way, so I am beat!. Unofficially my time was a little over 2 hours. The slowest half I have ever done, but considering the injury not bad for me. I do hope Dutchies ahres her experience too. Thanks to you girls for asking......Carole
My 5K went without any problems, It was a lovely route partly through the harbour, along the dike and partly thru a wood. but I was rather diasppointed in my finishing time.
I just want to congratulate to both of you on your races. Carole, that is great that the Achilles didn't bother you.
Dutchie, don't beat yourself. You ran a respectable distance with a respectable time --way to go!
