I have never posted here and hope someone can help. My son rescued an adorable toy poodle, bison mix last year, he couldn't take her to college with him so I have been caring for her. He was home for spring break and she was busy playing in the yard when he was leaving so he started to go and she raced across the lawn and ran right under his car. We got to her to vets but she had to many internal injuries to save her. I would like to try and get this exact same breed but want to see the dog before I purchase it. I live in the Allentown area, only one hour from Philadelphia. If any of you know any reputable breeders in this area please let me know.

Have you checked out petfinder.com? I think a bichon mix like that might be easier to find in a shelter/rescue than you think.

Bless your heart. I just can't imagine. I have cats that will try to assassinate me if I don't let them out (and three that are just fine inside) so I have no choice. But I dread watching them race across the street when I come home. They dart out in the street to try and drive me nuts. Turns my stomach just thinking about how easy it would be for someone to get hurt.
