S&H Results

Hey, everybody:

I just did three weeks of S&H, doing each tape once per week, exactly as is. I also got in a total body endurance workout two of the three weeks, and did 3-4 cardios each week.

Before this mini rotation I was using 10, 11, and 12 pounds on the biceps pyramid in PUB. Yesterday I did PUB and could do 10, 12, and 15. It was no picnic, but it was easier than the lighter weights I had done before S&H. I also could do all the pikes, go way heavier on back, and just noticed a general greater strength in all UB groups. Never having been a rotation person before fairly recently, I am definitely sold, now. Woohoo S&H!

I am glad you posted that. I am new to Cathe & I am going to do the S& H series this week.

Congratulations on becoming stronger. It makes you feel so good...

I just noticed your name is Ann. Mine is too! I have never stuck to a rotation either, but I am determined to finish the one I have started. It ends June 1st & I hope I am pleased with the results.

Keep posting your good news.

bye

Hi Ann -- and other Ann, too:)

I've got S & H penciled into my workout calendar for this week's strength workouts. Like the two of you, I've been alternating between S & H and Cathe's endurance workouts (CTX UB, ME, PH); CIA's Power Bar Training; and Body Pump. I really noticed the strength gains recently when I threw MIS into the mix. It seemed so much easier than it use to be -- even with my heaviest and most challenging poundage.

I haven't started on Cathe's PUB and PLB yet. I imagine I'll work them into a rotation when I burn out on the endurance workouts. I don't think I'll be taking S & H out of the rotation for a while.

Ann (oh, right, I forgot to mention the name thing;))

thanks for sharing ! I have been on the fence about Slow & Heavy. I already own PS series ( well ,kinda- I loande it out and it never go returned, but a dear friend shares hers with me.) MIS PH and all of the IS series. I have debated the need for the S&H series. Will it really help to mix things up?
