S&H and PS question!

;-) Hi all! I posted this question in the DVD & video ? forum and got no response. For those of you who have S&H and PS how do you rotate these workouts? Do you do them all in a row or do you do them every other day with cardio in between? I would like to lose some weight if not maintain it. Any ideas would be appreciated! :D :)

I'm not completely sure what you are asking, but with PS you should do the whole 45-min. workout all at once, and the whole series of 3 workouts once or twice per week. You can do as much cardio in between as you wish, taking into consideration that SLA has a tendency to weaken your legs temporarily, so you may want to space your cardio accordingly. Most people will do PS for several months at a time. You can then go to a S&H rotation, usually for about 3 weeks. The whole series should be done only once per week, and, unlike PS, S&H can be broken down into one or more body parts per day if you wish. I love to do a half hour per day 6 days per week. Again, you can do as much or as little cardio as your exercise regime requires, but should space the leg exercises accordingly since most cardio tends to be leg intensive. You can then go back to PS or some other strength or endurance rotation.

Hope that helps!

RE: S&H and PS question!

:) Thanks for the advice! I do one workout per day, as my job does not permit anymore than that. I was not sure if I should do all the S&H and PS 3 days in a row for each or alternate cardio in between each S&H and PS tape.;)

RE: S&H and PS question!

Either of those ways is just fine. Since each of the 3 tapes work out different muscles, there is no problem doing them back to back. It is also just fine to space them out. Do whatever you please! :)
