Runners??

Today it is official! I'm going to begin running again. I've missed it something horrible and can't wait to get back out there. I was training for a 1/2 marathon last year and had a terrible ordeal with heat exhaustion that scared me so bad I haven't run since then (that was July). I know it was just horrible planning on my part and completely not thinking clearly.

I've decided to run again and find another 1/2 marathon, but I was wondering.......I've done the 1/2 marathon in Duluth, which was one of my best experiences of my life. But, I would love to try another one preferrably in the late spring.

I live in southeast Minnesota and I'm not sure how far I could travel for it due to time and, of course, money. Anybody have any races in mind that would be a good-fun one?

Coolrunning.com lists different marathons, 1/2 marathons, and so forth. I'm sure there are some in your area - or if you want to travel elsewhere, figure out where and check out that location for the run! I think it's great you're going to do this! I ran 3 miles on Saturday for the first time in a long time. Felt great to be out running again.
