Alesia and I will arrive on Thurday Aug.09 at 3:41 PM at the PHL. I was wondering if anyone was landing at approximatley the same time, if so, would you be interested in sharing a ride to the hotel?

Todays workout is 30 min. run, Core Max 2 plus Total Body Stretch 3!

Good morning RTs!

I hope you all had a good weekend and enjoyed the nice weather. This morning I did SJP step & hi/lo premix. I have been doing Fitness Freaks' beg/int/adv rotation and today was the first day of the advanced portion-yah:D I have made a lot of progress in endurance & strength, but I'm not losing weightx( It's time to tighten the belt on my eating.

Tess... thanks for starting the thread! Hope all is well...

Belinda... your workout sounds so nice, enjoy!

Kara... just keep at it! You'll see the weight come off. Remember not to count too much on the scale alone. You're probably increasing your muscle as you lose fat, so the scale may not move as much as you want.

So, I am about to go down to the basement for my workout. I am going to do MM and then abs on the SB. Tonight I teach cardio/sculpt. I would love to go outside for a walk with my DH since he has the day off, but I have to go on the search for the new cell phone while he's home today, so I guess not. There just aren't enough hours in the day.

I'm feeling kinda "blah" today. I don't have any reason, just not in a great mood. Maybe working out will help??

This morning I was up bright and early to do GS back, shoulders & biceps. great workout!!! I'm also planning on doing the step only portion of SJP when I get home from school. It is such a beautiful day out...I have to go outside in between classes and bask in the sunshine!!!

Hope everyone had a GREAT WEEKEND. So much easier to be active when the weather is nice. The threat of having to appear in a bathing suits always gets me to do an extra 10 minutes. Spent all weekend in my yard gardening. I am a terrible gardening but as long as I keep things in pots I should be fine.

This morning had to do a quicky and did 20 minutes of FAST running and 20 minutes of bike riding. Going to do Drill Max (FIRST TIME) this afternoon.

Hi fellow trippers.

I had to work this weekend, so didn't really get much of a chance to enjoy the nice weather. The forecast around here goes downhill after today. I'm hoping the extended forecast is wrong. I'm having a very special guest over the weekend - Shelley (allwildgirl) and her daughter - and I'm hoping to do a lot outside. I'm working until Thursday, but then have a nice 4 day weekend to look forward to, and some sunshine and continued mild temperatures would be great.

I can't remember the last time I checked in here. The weekend was really busy. Saturday I did KPC and Sunday was Power Hour. Today's workout will be something cardio, but I'm not sure if it will be RS, SB or a run. Guess I'll see what I feel like after work.

This is National Lab Week, so there are goodies in the breakroom all week. I couldn't resist the PB Chocolate Pie over there this morning. And there is a chocolate cake with PB frosting in the office. Yikes. I should go home and do two cardio workouts.
 
Good morning RT's! I hope I didn't miss too much over the weekend. I've been so busy with the 2 jobs during the week that I had mounds of laundry and other chores piled up around the house and didn't get to the computer much. I did manage to get a quick trip to Sears in though - my DH bought me an exercise bike (Schwinn 212). :) He earned some big bonus points for that!

I did my measurements on Saturday and was a little frustrated to see that I only lost .5 lbs since the previous month. Not much of an accomplishment. The only other measurement that went down was my bust size. Hmm.... another not so great accomplishment. I know my eating is to blame for the stalled progress. I have been a pig the last month. I am now keeping a food diary and writing everything down. I think that is going to be the only way to keep myself in check. I have also sworn off ALL fast food for the time being.

Belinda - Enjoy the run and core work!

Kara - I hear ya! I have definitely been improving in my stamina and strength, just need to curb my eating as well to see more "body" improvements.

Vicki - There are definitely not enough hours in the day! I really think something needs to be done about that! ;) Good luck with the continued phone search!

Josie - Sounds like you got a good workout in this morning! Hope the classes go well for you today. :)

Kim - Have fun doing drill max later. Your eating schedule puts me to shame!!! I hate to admit that "Reduced Fat Cheez-its" actually made it into my food diary today...

Today is my rest day, and I haven't quite figured out what workouts I want to do this week. I'm still focusing on strength, but I'm also a cardio junkie:D

just finished B&G leg blast and ankle weight ab work. I was dying towards the end of the workout. For some reason I think that workout is harder then any of the the other Cathe leg workouts. I was drinched with sweat at the end!

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a lovely weekend. The weather here was fantastic. I did PS Back & Biceps + CC#2 yesterday and Tamilee's I want those abs. I love her 2 ab workouts on that DVD.

I had a really nice weekend. Friday night was Bunco night and it was a blast. There were 24 of us ladies from the neighborhood having a great time. After Bunco we congregated at another neighbor's house until about 1 am discussing politics and religion (and drinking of course)...dangerous topics but everyone handled themselves well. It was nice to get to know some of the ladies since I'm relatively new here.

Tonight's workout will be kickboxing. I'll either do KPC or one of my Kimberly Spreen's. Depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Hi all -- haven't checked in in the past several days! But I have been reading everyone's posts. I did Supersets Upper Body Premix today and then did Kickmax. I am really trying to get into kickboxing (did KPC twice last week) but I just feel so dumb doing it! I'm glad I can't see myself in a mirror because I feel like I must look like a fool! And to be honest, it's just not the funnest workout for me but I'm trying to like it since it'll be part of the RT! Oh well.
Had a great weekend with the kids -- my twin first-grade boys had a soccer tournament all weekend and their team won the whole thing! Then the coach and his family had everyone over after yesterday's game for swimming and a cookout. It was fun!

Today was a new CIA workout - Nekea Brown's Amazing Hot Stepping. I would say it was pretty good, but not fantastic. Decent workout, but not a nosebleed workout by any means.

Road Trip Check-in

I started this Monday with Gym Style Legs. I did the standing segment after the warm-up then skipped to the stretch. My legs were on fire! I think this one is harder than Leaner Legs and Butts and Guts! I love those slow motion lunges. Yes, I do! I love the leg presses with the band too. Butts and Guts is still my favorite lower body workout, but this is a close second followed by Leaner Legs. I love that Cathe wears shorts in this one. I love the pretty peach tops too.

My boss was in Dallas today. I had a peaceful day at work. Hopefully, tomorrow will be more productive as I still have a lot to do before he returns.

I went to the club after work and jogged in the pool. My beautiful new swimsuit that I bought last month is already way too big in the waist! I realize that this is a good problem to have, but swimsuits are not cheap! I have only worn this one a few times. My butt and hips are still too big to buy smaller shorts! The top is fine. My chest and hips are not shrinking at all. Just my waist!

I observed a few minutes of Pit Bull’s cardio boot camp class tonight and realized how much I miss her and her class. The part I watched with the stability ball looked like so much fun! One of the girls in class told me that they are planning to have a party when I return to class! I am hoping to return to class in July. I need to shed 20-30 pounds first.

I bought a digital camera bag tonight. I need to order my camera this week and learn how to use it before the Road Trip.

I am planning to do cardio in the morning followed by the Muscle Max upper body premix. I may do the Low Max step premix.
