Is that like when I do Pure Strenghth CST on Monday, BBA on Tuesday and SLA on Wednesday and then start with CST again on Thursday? I know it's a silly question, but is there any more to it than that? On Saturday, I was slotted to do my SLA workout and found I could not get past the first set of lunges before I had to sit down, and then couldn't get up. Usually, I can get through the whole workout, with some modifications, with no problem. Is it important to try to stay on a "rotation" or is it more important to listen to your body? My body never seems to be the seem two days in a row, and as far as I can tell, it's based upon the level of stress in my life.

I'm not Cathe but

I will answer part of your post relating to your query "is it more important to stay on a rotation or listen to your body?" Answer: Listen to your body.

I personally use the rotations as a guide, many of the rotations are 6 days a week and everytime I tried to do a 6 day rotation my body said NO (after the first week or two I just got too tired).
I am doing a 5 day rotation mainly cardio with 1 total body weight day and Circuit Max for both cardio and weights. What I would suggest is that you decide what you want to achieve both in the short term and long term, adapt this to your current fitness level allow and get suggestions from this forum and Cathe.

Remember you can always tweak rotations and when doing workouts when on weight days lighten weights or/and do fewer reps on cardio days go lower impact and/or out power moves (even lower your step). Believe me your body will adapt but give it time and patience.

I agree with the two days in a row body changes I'm the same, let me give you an example; Sunday is the start of the rotation I am doing at the moment and I was should have done I am Circuit Max yesterday but yesterday my body said NO. So I did nothing and went to bed (I exercise before going to bed). I will be doing Circuit Max this evening.

I have even started workouts like you and had to stop all together because of my body. But what I have found is that over time my body has adapted (and yours will too) I have am now able to do Cathe's tapes with all her power moves and reps on weights.

Stress does play a big factor so adapt your rotations make notes of changes to your cardio and weight workouts until you come across a combination that works for you.

As you develop and your fitness grows you will find that your body will adapt on its own and that you can push harder.

Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps or points you in the right direction.
