Rotation question

Hi all-

My question is this... in the past I have always varied my rotation and never really stuck to a strict rotation. Now, I am trying to do just that (at least with my strength tapes, cardio I still mix up a bit), but by the fifth week or so I find myself getting a little bored with the tapes and wanting to do something new. I have heard the results are so great when sticking to a rotation, but how do you all do it? Am I the only one who gets a little bored doing the same tapes for a minimum of 6 weeks? I guess you just forge on through, but any tips you have, please share them.

Thanks,
Nancy

Also, I want to change my user name... anyone know how to do that?

As for rotations, this is what helps me...
I do the exact same videos for 4-8 weeks, even keeping the cardio the same. So I might do CK every Sunday, Step Works every Tuesday, etc. If I only do 14 sequential power kicks this Sunday, then next Sunday I will aim for 16. This gives me an incentive to do the same tape again. Or if I messed up on the up and back or horse/straddle of Step Works last week, then this week I know to concentrate on that. It is also nice to do a PS rotation for 8 weeks because you will have increased your weight load by the 4th or 5th week and that is very motivating! This makes me want to keep going to see how strong I get. I also try to put in a tough workout like MIC, Imax, or BodyMax into each rotation to see if they get easier by the last week of the rotation. They always do. Hope this helps!

I don't stick to a strict rotation, but I've been a little more consistent with using the same weight workouts (and always varying cardio) in the last few months. I think I'd get bored with a 5-6 week rotation---my longest one was for 4 weeks. I started H with PH 3x/week, then transitioned into PH/MIS, then just MIS, then did a two week PS "rotation" (each workout once per week), then two weeks of S+ H (once per week), with a week of CTX (two body parts per day) stuck in between the two. I might get better results by sticking with something longer, but I don't think I'd have enthusiasm for it.j
