Rooming Together on Road Trip

Well Since I have never been anywhere without someone I know. Some of you mentioned you roomed together not knowing someone how do you go about this? I am in Michigan does this matter? Do you know how many can be scheduled or how do we know when the event is full? What days does it work out to be during the week or weekend?

Oh Beth,

If we both are able to go, let's room together! Shoot, I can even pick you up at the airport on my way to Jersey.

I think it's going to be on the weekend. It would be so neat to meet you!
 
I roomed with three people I'd never met. One girl made the hotel reservation and we all just met at the hotel for the first time. I think a lot of people did that.

And it's on a weekend.:)
 
This would be my first road trip myself, I am so exciting, but nervous at the same time! By the way, I am in the PA area (Exton).

I'm sure their is a limit to how many people sign up, does anyone know how many she allows?

Last year it was 110 and it was first-come, first-served. I have a feeling that this year's will fill up much more quickly;)
 
The last one Started on a Friday evening and ended on Sunday morning. If I remember right we were asked if we wanted to share a room and if so with how many other people. They gave us 2 hotels to choose from and then we booked out own reservations.

6swans for me Thank You that is so sweet of you. I am hoping I will be able to swing it I would love to do it. As long as it does not fall on the last weekend of July through the 1st of august I will be Ok I am running our Schools Uniform Exchange. I am going to be checking back frequently to make sure I do not miss it. Will you be going for sure?
