I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS YEARS ROAD TRIP. I WILL POISED AT MY COMPUTER ON REGISRATION DAY LIKE SOMANY THERS WITH MY FINGERS CROSSED!! THIS WILL BE MY FIRST TRIP GOD WILLING & I HAVE SSSSOOO MANY QUESTIONS. I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT ALOT OF PICTURES FROM LAST YEARS ROADTRIP THAT YOU GUYS HAVE POSTED (THEY ARE AWESOME!!) SEEING THE WAY THE CLASSES ARE TAUGHT IS IT HARD FOR PEOPLE WHO AREN'T RIGHT UP FRONT TO SEE CATHE & FOLLOW ALONG? FROM THE PICTURES IT LOOKS LIKE IT MAY BE HARD TO SEE HER. :)
THANKS!!
TAMI

It was hard to see her in the back, and I had trouble hearing her too, so I did have some trouble during some of the classes. However, I found a couple of people to watch who were able to see her and I followed them (Tracey Staehle, for example). It was still fun, even if I was on the wrong foot sometimes!

For some reason I was always in the back, but like Jodi sid, I would just follow someone in front of me that looked like they knew what they were doing.:) And during the step class I was fortunate enough to be right next to our own Brenda and I knew SHE knew the routine so I could try to follow her!! I messed up plenty and sadly enough it's all youtube for the world to see! Oh well, it was tons of fun!

Gin:)

Hey, Gin! I'm glad nobody had ME on video during the one step class. At one point, I came back diagonally and literally tripped over my own 2 feet and crashed in the the gal behind me! I don't even KNOW WHO IT WAS, either! Quite funny.

Hi Tami! I hope you'll snag a spot on one of this year's RTs -- I'd love to meet you!

You really do have EVERY reason to be excited -- it's an awesome weekend and the classes with Cathe are only one fantastic piece of it. Cathe designs routines for the RT classes that are built about 99% on "Cathe moves" that will feel very familiar to you. I think you will definitely find that it's surprisingly easy to catch on as you go. (I don't learn choreography quickly at all, and I felt comfortable! :)) At last year's RT Cathe showed us just a handful of new moves that we were going to find in the two about-to-be-released 4DS step routines, but it was easy to substitute something basic instead if you weren't feeling like trying ANY new moves.

With so many of us in Cathe's big aerobics studio, it's really unavoidable that it can be a little harder for people at the back of the room to see Cathe way up front. I can tell you, though, that the survey feedback from last year's RT told us people understood that completely, and that the size of the group classes didn't affect the huge fun factor of the classes in ANY way.

If you're uncomfortable with the notion of being somewhere back in the pack, Tami, snag yourself a spot near the front. :) The room will start filling up a little while before each class, and you can go in there early enough to grab a good place where you can see better. You'll find that the other RT'ers are very easy-going and accommodating about that. :)

I hope this helps!!

I was up front and tripped all over myself STILL! Ha! But, I had a total BLAST! No worries Tami, the "feel" in the room is unbelievable! JUST PLAIN OLE FUN!!! Wait til you hear 210 feet hitting the step all at once! :7
