Road Trippers 3/28

Hi ladies,

It has been a stressful week at work. I cannot wait for the weekend, trust me. I am checking in right quick with good eating and water intake yesterday and today. I can't remember if I posted yesterday's workout, it was Body Max 2 w/u, step, 3 power circuits and stretch = 63ish minutes. Today was Back/Shoulders/Biceps gym style "time saver" plus BM2 upper body only for about 55 mins at 5 a.m. (proud of myself for that! yay!) plus Drill Max w/u, drills 1 through 4 and stretch tonight (about an hour).

Anyhow! I hope to catch up with ya'll soon. I tried to sneak on at work today at lunch- I managed BARELY 20 mins to myself of "me" time to eat my lunch in between answering calls and I had to meet with a walk-in who dropped off a resume during my 20 mins! Work is stressing me out big time and I hate that it is - it's just a very busy time of year. I need a vacation!

Have a great evening!

Tracy

Good evening.

I am once again posting late. I didn't eat as well today:( I met my mom for lunch at one of my favorite places to eat and had a black bean burger and sweet potato fries. I am hoping since they were the sweet kind that they didn't count as fries. I did Muscle Max and Rhythmic Step tonight. I haven't done RS in awhile. It was fun.

Julia...you won't be disappointed getting the GS series. My chest is still sore and I did that workout Monday.

Kara...MIS is one of the few DVDs I don't have. I am really considering buying it soon though!

I agree. I admire all of the runners. The farthest I have ever run in a race was a fourth of a marathon. I will be doing the Komen in a few weeks, but there will be no PRs for me at this race!!

I am off to watch Lost now.

Hi all,
I posted the second day of the check in and became overwhelmed with thinking of doing personals (heck, I can’t even remember my own name most of the time!):D

Anyway, I think it was Gayle that asked me how I tore my ACL last year. I was playing volleyball in a sandpit and fell jumping up to get the ball. My left lower leg went out at an angle and I heard that ugly “popping” sound that everyone hears when it severes from your tibia or femur. Anyway, I’m on the mend and trying to come back to running again. I did my first post injury race this past Sunday….a 10 miler. I think we were planning on meeting up for the Philly Distance run last year in Sept. Are you going to do it this year? I’m going to try (barring any injury or complications from my knee).

Big wave to my fellow Cheetah’s….I’ll try to catch up on your check in soon.

This morning I ran 4.5 miles on my treadmill. This weekend is a 12 mile long run (I’m training for the Long Branch Half Marathon on 4/29).
