Ripped with HIIT rotation

I'm at the end of week 2 and love it. I have changed it somewhat because I also like to make sure I get high impact in my rotation too. I also don't have the cycle dvd so I just do some other cardio. I've been stretching a lot because even though it's lighter weight mixed with heavy, I'm lifting weights most days. I also make sure I add one total leg workout per week.
 
I plan to start this one on Monday. I've been looking at it and will likely add a cardio leg day each week. I feel like I'm seeing more definition in my legs with the 2 leg workouts from RWH and want to include them in. I'll probably end up with a 4.5 to 5 week rotation.

I'll finish the RWH & XTRAIN rotation tomorrow, loved it!

I didn't see a RWH and Xtrain rotation option. Sounds awesome. I love the idea of adding a cardio leg day. My legs usually need a bit extra focus. I had never thought of making the rotation longer by adding a day to each week (so 8 days of workouts per rotation, right?). Thanks for the idea!

Yes Liz, that's exactly what I'm planning to do. The RWH & XTrain rotation is the page after the RWH/LIS rotation in the guide. CrossFire and To the Max are also part of that rotation. I might subscribe to OnDemand to take adv of some of the leg workouts I've seen and am excited to try :)

I've one week left of the rwh / xtrain rotation - I feel it's tougher than it sounds! I've been adding in some lifting, one body part after one of the hiit workouts - otherwise there's just not enough lifting for my liking. I may l look at the rwh / sts rotation......
 
Justine, are you doing the burn sets as the lifting? I'm interested in doing a burn set rotation as an add-on to the RWH January rotation.
 
sjdavis- yes. The rotation I'm doing doesn't have all that much heavy lifting, so I'm adding in burn sets in the weeks where I feel everything is too light. This, my final week, has the rwh lihi workouts, so I probably won't add anymore.
 
Update...I decided I need more high impact as well, so I'm blending RWH/LIS and the Jan 2015 rotations, alternating weeks for an 8 week rotation. I'm seeing definition in my legs that I didn't think I'd ever get, which I'm attributing to RWH. I'm thinking this rotation will have me in great shape for spring and my 48th birthday!!

Update...I decided I need more high impact as well, so I'm blending RWH/LIS and the Jan 2015 rotations, alternating weeks for an 8 week rotation. I'm seeing definition in my legs that I didn't think I'd ever get, which I'm attributing to RWH. I'm thinking this rotation will have me in great shape for spring and my 48th birthday!!

I wish I would have thought of that. Maybe I'll try that in a few months.
