Rhythmic Step premixes

I posted this on the Video & DVD forum, but I'm not any response there, so I'm posting here, too.:

Can someone tell me what the premixes are for this DVD? I'm pretty sure I'd really like Rhythmic Step, but I'm wondering about the premixes on the DVD.

I'd also love your opinions on Interval Max & MIC. I LOVE Imax2, but I'm not sure if I'd like Imax1 or MIC.

Thanks!

Hello Marla,

I can't comment on the Rhythmic Step DVD because I don't have it, but th MIC and IMAX1 are both great workouts IMO. MIC is definitely Intense with a capital "I". IMAX1 flies by so fast for me because it is so much fun. Hopes this helps. Hopefully someone will have an opinion and answer your question on the Rhythmic Step.

The RH+ dvd doesn't have any premixes, per se. If you have a programmable dvd player you can make up your own premixes (and I have some ideas, if you're interested). IMAX has each step-blast-recovery segment separately chaptered, and MIC has the hi/lo and step, and "blast" segments chaptered. RS has each of the combos and the challenge seperately chaptered.

IMAX and MIC are Cathe's most intense cardio workouts. They both involve a lot of high impact, and the BPM in MIC is pretty high. IMO, they are not her "funnest" workouts, but they are super effective! When I first got this dvd 3 years ago I would do MIC on Monday, RS on Weds, and IMAX on Fri. I did this for a couple of months or so, and my cardio aerobic capacity increased significantly.

The great thing about MIC is that it can easily be used as two separate, intense, short cardio workouts. IMAX is such a challenge that when the day comes that you are able to get through unmodified, you will feel like you can conquer the world.

Cheers,
Sandra
