retirement gift?

I need to buy a gift for a friend of mine that is retiring from teaching. She was 2 of my sons teachers and she was also our neighbor for a while. I have no idea what to buy. Any suggestions? She likes to travel and she loves bears if that helps.

A hammock is a neat idea. I have not seen the Vermont Teddy Bears. I will have to check them out. Thanks for the ideas!
