Results with Tank Top Rotation

I've read Marlene's results with her tank top rotation and they are impressive. Would this rotation be conducive to weight loss (provided of course I eat nutritiously and perform the cardio intensly)? What has people's results been with this rotation?
I don't have the PS series, but I'm thinking of substituting the new pyramid w/os (should get the DVD tomorrow:D ).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much,

Kristine

Hi Kristine!

I'm going to bump this because I'm considering doing the tank top rotation myself. I hope someone will respond.

Have a good day.
Kristi

I did the Tank Top rotation and have seen great results.I have seen more defination and have also noticed a strength increase.I would recommend the ps series too, they are really good!

I did the TTA rotation and was very pleased with my results. I gained definition in my shoulders and triceps particularly. There was of course an increase in strength as well as weight loss benefits because it is a rather intense rotation, but if you commit to it, I can't believe you wouldn't have a pay off of some sort.
Overall, the biggest benefits for me were weight loss and increased definition in those 2 body parts.

Like the others have mentioned, the results in my arms was awesome. I'm going to begin doing that again once I start working out with weights again. However, unlike Donna, I did not see any weight loss.

I'm struggling with "that final 10 lbs" and have been for about 2 years--I got some of it off & gained it back when I went on Depo--great bc but not good for the weight!!! That's a whole other subject. I began the TTR after coming off depo & didn't lose anything doing it. When I begin doing it again this time around, I'm going to add more cardio & see if I get better weight loss results.

I've heard people gaining weight on Depo too. My niece is on it and she hardly ever gains but did notice her tummy increase in girth so she watches her diet more. She gained only 5 lbs on Depo but this is a girl who NEVER puts on weight. When she was trying to convince me to try it I told her the largest reported wt gain was 40 lbs and if I gained 40 then I'd be right back where I started. You think that's why it is an effective BCP? It'll fatten you up so no one comes near you?:p

I hate BC related weight gain. In fact, I hate all the birth control options out there . . . except the vasectomy. :lol I have a tubal ligation scheduled for mid-March so I'm trying really hard to be a consistent exerciser before then in hopes that I'll get in good shape, especially my core, and recover more quickly. I plan to being TTR in two more weeks, and see how it goes.

Hi Denise,

Here you go....

Marlene123’s Tank Top Arms Rotation

Editor’s Note: This has been one of the most popular rotations of Spring 2002, and it comes from Forum regular Marlene123. In a year’s time Marlene has lost 27 pounds and become lean and cut. Here’s how she achieved real “tank top arms”:

“Here is my current rotation which I have been doing for 10 weeks. I plan to do two more weeks of this, then two to three weeks of Slow & Heavy and then back again. I have had such incredible success with this rotation that I hate to let it go even for a few weeks but I know I must to cause some muscle confusion.
Anyway, here it is (and I admit, it's a killer):
Day #1: Pure Strength Chest, Back, Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps
Day #2: CTX Leaner Legs
Day #3: CTX Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps plus cardio
Day #4: Cardio
Day #5: MIS
Day #6: Cardio
Day #7: Cardio or rest
As you can see, this routine works shoulders, biceps and triceps three times per week, chest and back twice and legs twice. I do abs 4-5 times per week as well.”

RE: O/T Depo and weight gain...

My experience with Depo has been horrible! I had 2 shots in 1993, I gained 50 pounds in 6 weeks, facial hair growth, Cushing's syndrome, and no cycle until 1996!!! I know it reads like a horror story and it really seemed like it was at the time. Every possible bad side effect, I got. My fertility was finally restored and I have 2 beautiful children, but at a HIGH cost. Now, 10 years later I am still struggling with related problems, not the least of which is weight gain.

I know that some people have had great success with depo. For me it was a nightmare that could have been avoided by compentent medical management (and a little common sense on my part - I have extreme negative reactions to most drugs, so why I thought I could take 3 months worth of hormones I have no idea!!!)

Just remember that they stop reporting things like weight gains after the inital trial phases stop, they don't report on people like me. But they do pay me for it every month.

AHHHH, I'm done with the rant now. Here's something to make you smile - they use depo for chemical castrations of sex offenders.

Here's my version

I made up my own version of Marlene's TTA rotation that I'm going to start once I finish up my 12 week rotation of PS/Intensity. As you can see below I've used a mixture of just about all of Cathe's strength tapes and inputted them into a 2 week rotation to keep your muscles shocked and the workout fresh. I figured I try this rotation for at least 6 weeks and see what kind of results I get because its pretty intense but sometimes that just the thing needed to step it up a notch. (Note: I didn't add in more cardio because I figured I would just add it in as my body sees fit depending on my energy for the day) Also, I spaced my lower body workouts at least 2 days apart because for some reasion my legs need 2 days of recovery. Hope you guys like it.
