Results with Imax

Hi,
I'm trying to lose about 10 more lbs and I was wondering if anyone has had good results with Imax. I'm thinking of adding it to my rotation 3x's a week. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Shanda! I think you'll have excellent results with I-Max, especially if you continue with your strength training as well, paying good attention to leg strengthening. Interval training continues to be proven the best cardiovascular conditioning method out there, and Interval Max is the best of the best.

HOWEVER

Cathe advises in the intro to this workout that you should not do it more than twice per week, and I agree with that. Not only is it extremely challenging to the cardiovascular system, but is also can be extremely hard work for the knee joint and thigh muscles; it also has some high-impact work, especially in the last interval, that can prove pretty challenging to the ankle joint as well. My suggestion would be to do I-Max 2X per week, a steady-state (cardio speaking) workout 1X or 2X per week, and a leg-circuit cardio workout 1X per week, of course integrating your ab and upper body conditioning into that schedule as well.
