Results from the old Body Blast rotation/DVDs?

Hi girls,

Just wondering if anyone could comment on the results they got from the Body Blast DVDS?

I'm feeling very "down" right now...I have been working through the beginners rotation and I also tried to make some adjustments to it so that I could include more barre/HC workouts but I'm just not feeling a lot of progress.

My pants I have noticed are actually fitting TIGHTER though the thighs - this is bad. I do not care if I'm building muscle underneath my fat ... I have naturally strong and muscular legs - I don't want them to be any more stronger or more muscular. I just want to get this stupid fat off of them.

I have the LIS series and Body Blast series, but for some reason I'm really itching to work my way through a Body Blast rotation. I know it is old - I'm just wondering if anyone could comment on their fat loss experience w/ it?

PS: I have been using LoseIt all week and tracking everything - I have learned a lot in the last 4 days about my eating habits so I think that is about 70% of my problem, but I believe the other 30% is exercise, I think I need more of a challenge than the beginners rotation is giving me now...

I have not done a Body Blast rotation, but I have this series. KPC and Step Blast are two of my favorite cardio DVDs. If you want to burn fat these will help you do it. I also find that the cardio from LIS is great for fat burning. Afterburn and Cardio Superset will certainly give you more of a challenge. So will KPC and Step Blast. They are all non-stop and require endurance and cardio capacity to get through.

Good luck with your journey. And please remember it IS a journey. I've gone up and down a few times in the past couple of years trying to figure out what works in terms of exercise and diet. It will all come together eventually {hugs}

I actually lost the weight thru my legs, hips and butt by doing the LIS and xtrain series. I think you be better off attempting a rotation doing these w/o. You could always throw in some of the body blast dvd's for variety once a week and see which dvds you prefer.

Hi girls - thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it. I was/am having a tough time right now...I mean, I really don't have it that bad but it's all relative, right? ;)

Anyway, I think I am going to start an LIS rotation and then maybe pick up Xtrain when it goes DOtD again.

Over the weekend I bought the 2nd Ballet Beautiful workout because I did the first one and I really loved it. I also bought Tracy Anderson's Mat workout...it was on clearance for $9.99 at Target :)

I did KPC on Thursday, which is from Body Blast. I did about 25 minutes. I don't think I can do kickboxing (which is sad because I kind of liked it...) because my right knee (which is my problem knee) is just aching ever since Thursday night and IDK what else I have done since then that would have caused it to ache. I didn't workout last night and have done nothing strenuous. Maybe doing that ballet DVD will help strengthen my knee muscles though.

If your knee is hurting be careful and give it rest. I never had a knee issue and out of the blue my knee started to hurt and swelled step or high impact anymore (which of course is what I thrive on).
