Remember your very first workout?

>My first workout video was an 80's Denise Austin video-- it
>had floor aerobics and conditioning. She wore a shiny
>turquoise leotard with turquoise tights, hot pink legwarmers
>and a hot pink headband. And, of course, the
>dear-in-the-headlights facial expression:D

i believe that is her "it's your body" workout. it came in a clam shell case and had a cassette tape. i never did use the cassette tape but i still have them both.

I'm assuming we aren't counting gym classes in school or Phys Ed classes in college???? I took a weight-training class in college and I took part in group aerobics in college, not to mention I ran three miles a day back then.

I think my first workouts not counting any of those things were Joanie Greggains cassette tapes of all things, where you followed along with pictures in a book. I also remember having a Jacki Sorenson album with a book showing the moves. I believe my first VHS workout was Jane, but I honestly can't remember which one. Funny ... none of that FEELS like it began over 25 years ago ...

Denise Austin - Bless her heart - so successful after all these years and SOOOOOOOO irritating that I think Richard Simmons is easier to take! She must be doin' something right to be still going strong. Can't knock that at all.

Mine was the original Firm - I think I was about 18! (Almost 40 now!!)_

My first Cathe was All Step. I gave up after a few times and gave it away. Then I saw her on fittv and fell in love and bought all of her workouts. Sometimes I still have to rewind many times to get a step down, but I never give up anymore!
