regarding that huge mastercard (accounts) theft announced last week sometime

did anyone get any notice from the cc (or anyone)that their accounts were effected by this? I have been checking statements regularly and havent heard another thing about it. Was anyone's info on here stolen?

I've been checking mine too and no one I know has heard or seen anything about it from mastercard. Just on the news. I hope mine stays ok

We've been watching ours too. MC said just pay attention to your statements and hang on to them if you find anything. You won't be charged, but if you toss your statement, there will be TONS of paperwork to have charges removed.

I check mine online several times a month to make sure things are ok. You can't be too careful.

Just two weeks ago, my friend's husband called her to ask why there was about a $600 charge on their MC. Well after some investigating, someone in Indonesia had purchased 3 cameras or something like that using their card. Unbelievable!
