I wore them with leg warmers too, even though I was in my early to mid 30s at the time!
I loved the pink ones the most and the black ones second.
Recently, I found an older photo (early 90s) of me at the track, and I was wearing my black low rise Reebok Freestyles.
Reebok has just introduced the high top Freestyle in these great colours to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Freestyle. Reebok is doing some great shoes in fantastic colour combinations.
I just bought a pair of ice blue ones at Zappos, but honestly, they are too cute to use for my workouts.
I almost never wear athletic shoes except for workouts unless I am walking my dogs or hiking, so for me to love athletic shoes is a rarity. I am prefer high heels or wedges.
I usually don't like lace up shoes and wear the old Granny Grump velcro strapped New Balance because I got frustrated at my shoes coming undone while I was at my target heartrate.
