RED CARPET READY

Tneah - ha ha that is a picture of my goal back and I have to say I'm getting darn close. My goal this summer is to be posting my own progress photos. You would laugh if you saw me in my bathroom trying to take my own photos; they aren't really eye catching!! LOL

>Excellent! Now I get it. And am ready for results, did you
>guys follow the diet plan? I basically eat that way already..
>
>Kelly, I checked out your blog, very cool. Is that a photo of
>your back? Good grief, thats a great pic.:)

I re-read through the diet portion of RCR last night and she says that vegetables are virtually unlimited. I do like the part of this "diet" where in between meals you could have smaller snacks like 2 hard boiled eggs or one and a piece of fruit, instead of feeling like you are force feeding so much protein. I'm focusing on chicken/tuna/turkey/fish for protein on lunch/dinner. Dinner is protein and green vegies. Snacks are usually a portion (that is the key!) of trail mix or hard boiled egg/fruit combo. I think I may try to do egg white omelettes for breakfast instead of the oats for a while....and I'm also doing these great Green Smoothies that I heard about via www.greensmoothiegirl.com - I love them and what a great way to get in tons of greens! LOVE IT!!

And arms are almost my favorite body part, so I'm adding the shoulder/bicep/tricep 'circuit' of my own in at the end. Additionally, I'll work with my trainer on Sundays and do Core/Upper Body weight work.

I'm really psyched to see how this works!!

>Wow, that is a strict diet, I would have to add my veggies in
>there, I am a fan of cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, green
>beans...thanks so much for your input, I will do the workout
>like you did, three times through each one, using a heavier
>weight and then add some shoulder work, I too love a slightly
>more defined shoulder on a woman, oh and will also add calf
>work.:)

Sounds great! :) I am going to start tomorrow I think. No time like the present to get started right?

Thanks for the smoothie link, might have to give it a try. Keep us updated on how you like the workout kay?:) I shall do the same.

Tneah,

Whoa. I just did my 2nd day of the circuit and was just literally dripping with sweat and gasping for air, it was awesome!! I also finished off with a shoulder circuit, but I'm telling you, this workout system is killer, I love the difference, and I'm pretty darn sure this will be the ticket to major fat burning! Yippeee!!!

I am going to do the first three circuits three times today for my first real workout, excited!:) I will of course keep the cardio higher than what she suggests, just because it suits my particular body type.

I also "warmed up" with cardio for a good 10 minutes instead of just a few....I think the program by itself is kick butt, but you obviously can also really tweak it up which is cool. Those ValSlides - if you watch a video you'll think, oh that's no big deal, I could do a lunge without them. THINK AGAIN. For some reason, I think when your foot is on the ValSlide, it forces both of your legs to work - when I do it, I feel like I'm dragging my back leg in through quick sand and my front leg is really holding on STRONG to balance me. For me, it takes these exercises to a whole new level. And don't even ask me about the plank exercises - whoa!!

I heart RCR!!!
