Recommend Cathe to be on Oprah!

NOOOO! It's getting bad enough that I can't give "Love in the Time of Cholera" or "One Hundred Years of Solitude" as gifts anymore because of that Oprah embossment on the covers....I'm not sure if I can take it if Cathe's DVD covers have them, too!!!!

She got the nickname Doprah for a reason...

Cathe deserves a better outlet.

ETA: Sorry if this came across as harsh, I think the sentiment of the OP is very nice, but I'm really not an Oprah fan.
 
I'd love to see Cathe get all the credit and exposure she is due, but not on Oprah! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who isn't a fan of hers.

I'd love to see Cathe on Oprah. I actually do understand why many people don't care for Oprah. Yeah she's got a serious ego and sure she has really taken over the book world. She has made mistakes and is clearly not perfect (like Cathe seems to be :p !).

But personally I think she earned her success and that she does so many great things in the world with that success. There is so much negativity out there in the world and I support Oprah as a positive force and a role model for women (we seriously need those, right?!)

I'm also not a fan of Oprah and probably wouldn't watch it even if Cathe was on. I don't watch talk shows -- ICK! ;)

I love Cathe's success. I've been a Catheite for over 10 years and it's so cool to see her doing so well.

I would rather see her on Dr. Phil or something...maybe even Tyra or Ellen????

Just not Oprah :p
 
What a great idea!

Here is what I wrote:

I am voting for Cathe Friedrich (www.cathe.com) to be on Oprah. She is one of the most inspired and inspiring personalities in fitness today. She is in my opinion the best in her niche - safe yet advanced fitness. Anybody, even the average Jane or Joe, can get near athlete-fit. I learned this after I started working out with Cathe in my mid 30's. I live in India and yet credit Cathe with how fit I am. At 40 I am more fit than ever in my life before thankls to Cathe. Her workouts are not just tough, they are so much fun.

She is a wonderful human being as well. She has a forum at her webste where she responds to questions - always making time to give advice and encouragement. Her customer service is excellent. I ordered one of her DVDs to be shipped to a friend of mine in US. It took about 6 months after the order for the DVDs to reach me in India. I noticed one of the DVDs was missing. I had no idea if someone had opened the package after Cathe shipped it. I wrote to her. She sent a replacement!

She is incredibly innvovative and her plans for using technology to reach out to people who want to get fit everywhere in the world will revolutionize how fitness solutions can have global reach.

To those that dont like Oprah, the way I see it - she is watched all over the world. Oprah does not matter to me one way or the other. That she has a reach matters. All Oprah's viewers will get to see Cathe. So if Oprah is number 1 in terms of reach, I want to vote for Cathe to be seen by the most people!

If there are links to other submit ideas to other talkshow hosts like Dr Phil, i would go there and vote too. I have no idea who he is, but I'd do it if he was popular.
