I just drove home from work with my windows open and was listening to the wonderful chorus of summertime noises that the crickets, katydids and God knows what else make at this time of year in the evening here in the Mid-Atlantic. It is one of the special things about summer here. I could listen to it for hours..it is such a peaceful wonderful sound. Just had to post.
