Ever have one of those days at work where you aren't able to get a darned thing done that you were planning on doing because you're too busy putting out fires? Today is one of those days. Came in at 7:00 a.m., got a phone call from an employee who didn't get a pay check (we only get paid every 2 weeks) and it's like you have to sell your first born child to Accounting to get them to issue another check. It took me 5 hours to get that resolved.

I also spent 2 hours on the phone with our HR/Payroll software vendor trying to get an issue fixed and that STILL isn't resolved.

ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I need some Kick, Punch and Crunch!!!!

Hey....that might be a good slogan - like "Calgon, take me away", but with some power.

YES! My entire week was this way! I hate that. I went in early today, had no meetings planned and hoped to leave early this afternoon. I got nabbed before I got to my desk and was involved in client issues until 3:00! Arrrgggghhhh is right! I'm with you on this one! Kick, Punch and Crunch!!
