Hello:
I really miss all of you and my Cathe work outs. I've made a number of attempts at coming back but all of them are short lived. It's been a very tough last 14 months. My son was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, has to be on meds which impacted him cognitively, my daughter went away to college, and my mother has had major mental illness issues. I just have not had the drive or focus for working out. Amazingly I've only gained 3 lbs (but lost a lot of muscle).
Anyhow my mother is now in a secure nursing home (court mandated meds), my daughter just left for her sophomore year after a wonderful summer, my son's annual check in went well (his situation is stable and he will have a procedure in a few years but nothing at this time), he has had to give up his passion contact sports (hockey, lacrosse) but with my daughter this summer learned tennis and golf. He did quite well but most importantly is enjoying it. He will need to stay on meds, but the new ones don't have the bad side effects. We will always need to monitor his situation but pray it's manageable with meds.
Everyone is so supportive, the headmaster emailed me saying how strong he is and what an inspiration, his teachers have said he has handled this so well and what a pleasure he is to have in class.
Anyhow hope to be back this time. I miss you all so much
