Real Housewives of N.J....

I was goin' to start a thread. I stayed up to 11:00 watchin' so I didn't see the last episode at 11:00 EST. What happened? Also did y'all read the book. Now that has peaked my interest. The question is why would Danielle be on TV with ALL that baggage. I know we have some baggage, but.....I am wonderin' who leaked the book.

I love the new house, a little over the top, but is beautiful and to pay cash for everything would be awesome.
 
Oh I am so loving this show! Danielle has got to be the best RH character ever! She is such a complete whack job. Incredibly entertaining. At first I thought she'd be like Kelly from NYC, but she's not--Kelly is just stupid. Danielle has an element of stupidity but IMO she's certifiably insane. I think she might be a paranoid schizophrenic, & I'm pretty sure she has no idea how to speak without lying through her teeth.

So this book comes out & her mug shot is in it--she was arrested for kidnapping & a bunch of other stuff. She claims she was a "victim of circumstances" & it was all her BF, she had nothing to do w/it. BS.

I think she's perhaps the most hideous housewife--I'm having a tough time deciding betw. her, Tamra & Vicki. Last week's epi when she had the spa party (which I actually thought was a great idea & looked like it could be lots of fun) she got pretty much the same stuff I do (botox & filler). But it looks so different on her! I mean, SO fake, this stuff has to be used judiciously but I think she had her entire face injected. Her mouth looks just awful.

And a note on Teresa's "bubbies"--she doesn't need implants. What she needs is a consultation w/Stacey & Clinton. If there is anything out there for sale that is completely & totally unflattering for her body type, apparently she buys it & wears it. WTF is the deal w/all the tube tops? Tube tops are a total no-no for flat chested women (speaking from experience here). When she wears V-necks she looks just fine. Maybe some lightly padded bras & her bod would be perfect. And her daughters are just too adorable for words.

Also, I realized something about Kelly on NYC. She's about my age, so I suspect she was modeling in the 80s. I was so shocked to hear she graduated from Columbia, but it occurred to me that she might've been smart at some point but fried her brain in the 80s w/drugs & eating disorders, & that's why she can't seem to stick to a single train of thought for longer than 5 seconds or so.

Whew. Can't believe I have so much to say about trash TV. :D
 
Laura -- you are hilarious! All of these housewives were on The Today show yesterday (that ridiculous fourth hour!) except Jacqueline (sp?) b/c she is apparently about to have a baby. Teresa is also pregnant (due in Sept.) and her "bubbies" really show it (or she actually had them done).
 
Bravo is my guilty pleasure. Love the Housewives!! (New York are my favorite, but these NJ ladies are a hoot!!) Love The Fashion Show (I adore Isaac Misrahi). Love Kathy Griffin. Love Flipping Out. I'm such a geek. :confused:

Aw! I'm so happy for Jacqueline! She seems so sweet and normal. Probably b/c she isn't a realy Jersey girl. ;)

Teresa has #4 on the way, huh? In this week's previews she said she "definitely decided to get the bubbies," so I guess she went through with it.
 
Theresa - what is with the head bands/scarves? Is she channeling Rafael Nadal?? I do hope she has a testosterone filled little boy. She won't know what to do.

Danielle - what a friggin weirdo. But weird enough that they will always have her on the show.

Dina - I take it she is divorced and did quite well in the divorce? Is she the sister to the hubbies of Theresa and the red head?


Guilty pleasure is right!

Dina is the sister to the redhead and she is the sister in law to Jacqueline.

Danielle is a gold digging, trainwreck. It seems all she wants is to put out and find someone to pay her bills. Her poor girls.

I haven't watched this weeks episode yet.
 
I like Jackie but she needs to wise up about the entire Danielle scenerio. I am glad she is pregant.

Does anyone remember the name of the book? I wish I stayed up to see the last episode at 11:00 pm (EST) but I was too tired. 2 nights in a row of TV is making me tired. Monday night it was "4th and Long" not it ain't about a man's body parts,but football players given a second chance to play with the Cowboys. Great show.
 
Name of book: "Cop Without a Badge." Her real name is: Beverly Merrill. I feel sorry for those girls.

I keep hearing about this show, but I've never watched it. Maybe I'll DVR it and see what all the fuss is about.

It would help if I knew what station it was on. :D

Your know I ROLL MY EYES while I'm watching this show but I always come back for more! Stay up last night and like most of you could not keep my eyes open for that last one.

Have to say I secretly like ALL the housewives shows ;)

Dina I don't think did well in her divorce at all, she said after her divorce, she moved in with her sister for a while, and the ladies in town would not give her a second glance yada yada, and that's where she met her now husband, and it's her current husband that has all the money. We rarely see her DH.

So I gotta admit, the little girls are really cute. And Theresa is just so goofy in a fun way, I can't help but to like her.

Danielle is crazy, at first I actually felt bad for her, not for money stuff, but because she's the one on the outside, but I can see why she is that person. The whole dancing thing would have really annoyed me too, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Oh and is her BF really 26?? He looks WAY older than that, maybe it's just his hair that ages him, but I'm not so sure that's the truth.

A friend of mine is getting married at the Brownstone (the wedding place they own) in a few months, I'm very excited about that.

The show has officially grown on me, I found the first episode boring, but now I'm hooked.
 
Ok, this is funny, I looked up the book, people are buying this book on ebay for between 80 and $100! And I checked the reviews on Amazon, I guess the author tried listing his book for $186 after the housewives show aired, and a couple of the reviews are awesome, a couple of guy, who know and want to kill the author, are just berating his character and bringing up all these inconsistencies with the book, the reviews are worth reading, entirely unrelated to the show, but 2 of the most entertaining "reviews" I've ever read on Amazon.

I so love this show! Danielle is insane!!! I actually think that Jacqueline is scared to end their friendship. Danielle has become almost obsessed with her. I actually missed the first episode, so I'm not sure exactly what happened between Danielle and Dina, but Danielle is totally obsessed with her too. I would be a little frightened if I were either of them. Although, I have full faith that if Danielle were to do anything to either of them Caroline would take out a can of serious whoop a**! I would NOT want to get on her bad side!!!

Can't wait until next week.
