Rate the new series!

Hi everybody,

I was wondering, for the ones who have done all four DVDs in the new series... How would you rate them? Rating them from 1 to 4 (one being the highest and 4 the lowest), which one is the most:

Difficult
Fun to do
Effective
Different from previous videos
Complete
A Must Have

If you'd like to add why do you rate them that way, even better. I ask this because I might purchase one per month, and this could give me some hints to determine which should I buy first. Or would you recommend purchasing them all at the same time?

Thanks!

DM - 1 - different from previous videos. LUV the use of the stability ball for stabilization, various push ups, and it is used in one of the nice long cardio segments. More difficult and challenging then your average workout but not as difficult as an Imax or BC in my opinion. Great premix options (I will especially utilize the cardio premix options.) This one is definitely a must have.

B&G - again...LUV it!!! This is a fun lower body workout. I like the fast pace between each exercise...not much rest and the use of light to no weights. New moves include but not limited to the stability ball WU and the firewalkers!!! The floor work is KILLER and both ab workouts are STELLAR, original, hard, and just plain awesome. Many new moves for working the abs...moving quickly from one exercise to the next...not the same ol' crunches at all. Again, a must have.

BM2 - fun, fun, fun!!! I love the music and the cardio segments especially!!! This is tough, but the power segments (cardio and lower body weights) are actully shorter than in the original. I like sitting or using the stability ball for most of the upper body work. Absolutely no DOMS from the weight work in this one and I do get DOMS from the original. I still think this is a must have because the music and step cardio are classic Cathe and so much fun. I just smile during the cardio portion and have a total blast.

LIC - Good, original intermediate workout. It has some nice push up variations, nice use of the band for some of the upper body work. Is it my favorite Cathe? No Will I ever part with it? No

CF - one of the BEST and most fun cardio workouts on the market as far as I"m concerned!

I'm finding all the workouts effective. I'm doing the November roation and my jeans are fitting better and my legs are shaping up nicely. Nothing scientific and I don't know what I weigh, but I know what I see and I can see a difference and I like it!!!

Angela read my mind! What she said...exactly!
(I have to say, I'm not crazy about the music, but the workouts are so good I can get past it)

Susan

Butts and Guts - Very useful. Really targets these two specific areas. A bit long though.

Body Max 2 - Fun. Another one that seems long. I am not crazy about the upper body weight segment. Prefer Body Max 1.

Drill Max - Love it. Alot of fun, different and very challenging.

LIC - Like it alot. I don't have any intermediate workouts, so this will fit into my rotations well.

Cardio Fusion - Only tried it once and I didn't do the whole thing. Seems like fun.

I don't like the music at all on any of them. I wish Cathe would put out others with music similar to Step, Pump and Jump/Step Blast. They are my absolute favorite (music wise). Really gets me going.

I love all of them. LIC is my favorite, then BM2 and then DM.
I absolutely love the music in these and it totally gets me going. Very different from her other tapes I think. Anyway, just my 2 cents.
T:) :) :)

From most to least:

Difficulty:
B&G - her toughest lower body workout yet

LIC

Fun to do:

Effective
B&G
BM2 - maybe effective b/c it's the longest?

I put DM and B&G as must haves b/c they are different from the other Cathes. LIC and BM2 are more of the same, still great though. They are ALL must haves. A great new series.

From most to least:

Difficulty:
BM2 - I find the cardio to be the toughest out of the three cardio dvds because it is non-stop. I didn't find the weight segment that difficult though.
DM - The cardio is tough but shorter than BM2. I still can't do all the moves in the toning segments, (push-ups and tricep dips on the ball).
B&G - This is a tough lower body work out, but because it doesn't have any cardio, it's hard to compare it to the other 3.
LIC - Fun, but not as intense.

Fun to do:
LIC - Love the music and the moves, and it doesn't totally wipe me out.
B&G - Love how the moves flow together and I LOVE the Firewalkers. Great floorwork segment.
DM - This is actually my favorite of the four, but it completely wipes me out by the end. So many fun & different moves though.
BM2 - I really enjoy this one, but since it's the longest I ranked it last for the fun factor.

Effective
DM - I think the fast pace and the different moves & angles will shock my body, therefore I think it will be the most effective for me.
B&G - Again the different pace and moves I think will be very effective for my lower body.
BM2 - It's long and intense.
LIC - I do a lot of step so I don't think this one shocks my body as much.

You must buy Drill Max :) Its different, its tough, the premixes rock and I love the use of the stability ball :) Its great for building endurance and challenging the muscles in a different way....I agree with the above poster - I feel wiped when I am done, but I love it!

Then I would definitely buy Butts and Guts baby! I love love love this workout! Its my favorite of all her leg dvds so far - I enjoy the fact that she uses lighter weights, but still manages to completely fatigue my muscles and I like the floor work as well :) I only put this one second because you might already have a legs dvd....

Then I would probably get Low Impact Circuit because of the FUN FUN factor! Its enjoyable to do this workout - I feel worked completely but not exhausted when I am done, but energized. I have done this one on Friday nights after work and still have the energy to go out to dinner or a date with my spouse and friends :)

Then I would probably get BMII - only because its fun and I enjoyed it, but I have BMI.....so if you have that one, then maybe wait on this one and add it later because it is worth having - - I need to try the scrambled eggs - I heard that is a great cardio workout :)

OK, I've not looked at a single response, so here is my opinion:

Drill Max:
Difficulty level 2
Fun to Do 1
Effective (Can't say yet since it's too early since their release)
Different from previous videos: 1+
Complete: 3 (Drill Max is a Space Hog)
A Must Have: 2 (due to its need for a lot of space and a wall)

Low Impact Circuit:

Difficulty Level: 3
Fun to Do: 1
Effective: See above response.
Different from previous videos:2
Complete: 2
A Must Have: 1.5

Body Max 2:

Difficulty Level: 2
Fun To Do: 1
Effective: Can't yet say
Complete: 1
A Must Have: 1

Butts and Guts:

I have not done it enough to comment.

Of all the new videos, Body Max 2 gets my vote as the must have, thorough, and fun to do.

Drill Max would probably be my Number 1 choice if I could do it the way it's meant to be done.
