Ramping

Does anyone else take Ramping classes at their gym? I take a Ramping class once a week and its fun, but nearly as good a workout as step. It is fun though.
 
Its a half circle with the flat end on the floor and rounded edge slightly elevated. Check out Gin Miller's website to see a ramp. anyway, you push off the ramp to target the glutes and hams. Its fun but I caouldnt do it everyday, because there isnt as muchyou can do.
 
I've seen that the classes offered at the gym and I've seen the workouts by Gin Miller too, but I have yet to try it. My guess is that it's not that hard as a step workout because you don't have that much impact. The angle of the ramp is supposed to target that oh so horrible problem area between the gluteus and the hamstring. Do you think you'll get noticeable results with this type of workout?
