Ramping

DEEDEE

Cathlete
Has anyone done this type of exercise? What did you think of it? I went to that ramping web site and that thing looks like it is on an incline. If so, wouldn't stepping on an incline over stretch the achellies tendon?

One of the things I like about the Cathe forums is learning about other fitness methods out there. (Bosu, plyometrics aerobics, or something like that, etc.).

Deedee, what IS ramping? I looked in google and saw that is a ramp of some sort, never heard of it. Thanks for bringing it up. Very interesting.

I would definitely be interested in any information anyone could share with us about this new device.

I think its Gin Miller's latest invention - and she is making a bunch of videos to use with it. It doesn't look too exciting to me - just another way to spend money for something that won't be used much. hehe

Hi Punky,

What you said is the same thing I thought about the step!:p Now I'm a stepping fool.:9 I actually had to cut my stepping days down to just twice a week because I developed some foot/heal problems from doing too much step. But hey, I love stepping and I really love what stepping has done for my lower legs. You always hear about how good stepping is suppose to be for the butt and thighs, but my shins now have muscles where before I just felt bone. I love feeling all those muscles in the lower leg, front and back...no more shin spints for me, not since starting stepping.}(

As far as this ramp thing goes, if you do use it on an incline, I know it isn't for me, not if you are to step up on it.;(
