raise high step or weights??

Hi guys!! I often wondered about this. When doing PLB on the high step using 5 risers and I have been increasing the weight or would you raise the risers to 6 instead and start over with the basic weights?? Any advantage to either??? Thanks......Gene
 
Hi Gene.

If your leg bends at less than a 90 degree angle at the higher step height, I wouldn't do it; I'd just increase the weights. However, if you are tall like I am, where the 6 risers keeps your leg at a safe angle, then go for it.
