Quick Stability Ball Question

Hi, I need to get a stability ball and noticed that my height falls at the cut off from medium to large size. Does anyone know if it's better to go bigger or smaller when this is the case? Thanks!
--Jen :)

Hey Jen: When you sit on the stability ball the angle at the hip should be 90 degress and the angle at the knee should be 90 degrees. I am around the cut off (5'8") and got a good deal so I bought both balls. I just don't inflate my 65 cm ball as full but for most exercises I find that I use my 55 cm ball more often. HTH.

Jen,

I'm right near a cutoff too. At first I went with the larger ball and like Laurie, just didn't inflate it to the "top." But then I've read that the road-trip people really had an easier time doing the pikes and harder moves on a ball that was full. So I've since gone with the smaller ball. It's on the way and I can't wait to see if the "trippers" are right. I'd love to do a pike as good as Shelley!

You didn't ask, but Fitness Warehouse Online is a great place to get a good ball at a lower price. They even have "out of the box" prices--and they ship super-quick!

Good luck!
