Quick Q re: December rotation

Hi Cathe!

I've been meaning to ask this for a while -- when you put into a rotation for us to do "200 crunches", is there an ideal (or at least real good ;-)) mix of crunches that you think should make up the total of 200? Like, for example, X number of lower abs crunches, X number of upper abs 2-up-2-down, X number of upper abs up-3-down-1, X number of oblique twists, etc.?

LOVE the December rotation except for that clean eating part.......... ;-) Thanks!!!

Hi Kathy! Great question! The 200 standard crunches will probably burn the upper abs first, even though you will engage your entire ab region to perform them. If you want to get some more lower focus in there, do 50 to 100 reverse crunches of the two hundred reps. If you want to feel it more in the center of the ab area (the 2 inch circumference around your navel) then convert some of your basic crunches to frog style crunches.

You don't have to be exact with how many of each...just be sure "it gets toasty in there" before switching :7

Then I have listed to do the two minutes of bike maneuver and a one minute plank for your oblique and transverse focus.

That oughtta do it :)

Take Care!
