Hi Cathe, I had asked this question on another form but it was one of those subjects that was actually on the 2nd page, so I didn't get a response. Could you tell me why it may be beneficial to have some protein before lifting, I know what the benefits are after, but is there anything specific to the muscle, or is it just to have something in your stomach before working out? I typically don't before working out but I do after. Thank you in advance.
