My current rotation is 8 instead of 7 days so I can fit in one day of power yoga:
DAY 1: GS Legs
DAY 2: GS CT + Abs
DAY 3: 1/2 Imax 3 + Yoga
DAY 4: GS BSB + Abs
DAY 5: KPC Cardio Conditioning Premix + KM Leg Conditioning Drills
DAY 6: Power Yoga
DAY 7: Circuit (BC, Gauntlet, SJP, HSC, etc)
DAY 8: Rest
I also sub short yoga segments (15 min) for Cathe's stretch segments whenever I have the time.
Nothing like asking a question that has been asked over and over and over - I feel like such a nOOb... Thanks every so much for the reply and the links. They have been very useful!
I'm going to sub a Byran Kest's Power Yoga series for a circuit workout for a few weeks until I get used to it. Is that a good idea to start? My rotation will look like this for the next two weeks - with Thanksgiving in there and 2 additional days off, I can do things differently -
Friday Circuit Max Yoga - 10AM class
Saturday Hike or Imax 3
Sunday GS BSB and CoreMax segment 1 w/ planks
Monday GS Legs Yoga 11AM class
Tuesday GS C&T and abs
Wednesday KPC/KM and CK w/ Abs
Thursday Imax 2 and Yoga
Friday Hike w/ Ved
Saturday Run and Yoga
Sunday Core Max - if up for it
Monday GS BSB/GS C&T Time savers Run
Tuesday GS Legs Yoga 11 AM class
Wed Rhythmic Step Pilates 11 AM Class
Thursday Yoga Run
Friday KPC/KM and CK
Saturday Hike w/ Ved or Run and Yoga
Sunday Yoga if not done on Sat.
Christine, it's inevitable that questions get asked more than once. I know I don't do a search every time I ask a question and I'm sure I've asked frequently asked questions lots of times.
I think subbing BK for your circuit workouts for a few weeks would be fine since your rotations already have plenty of cardio.
P90X has a rotation where you do a longer yoga workout once a week. That works very well, IMO, though there is also the philosophy that one should do a little bit of yoga every day.
Since the Kest workouts are about 40 minutes long (?), I'd say start with doing them once a week, on their own day.
