Question on workouts.....

Hi Cathe (or anyone else with good info),

I think i now have almost every DVD you have, and have been rotating Cardio/intervals and weights each day...one day off a week. If i am doing something different each day (all your workouts are so different), do i still need to change it up. I am getting amazing results, but do not want to hit a stopping point. I do not have to lose weight, but want some more muscle. Should i be following some sort of rotation and change it each month.. or is what i am doing fine?

I also love the Terminator DVD... the best workouts i have ever done, so much fun the time flyes by!

Hi Brigitte! If you are getting amazing results right now...keep doing what your doing. As you enjoy the results your getting, you'll start to notice a couple of things happening. 1) Your body will favor certain exercises and repond quickly 2) You will have areas that are not responding as quickly or plain old don't want to change, GRRR!

Once you have started to notice these occurances, you'll begin to figure out what it is that you need to focus on to reach your goals more specifically. Don't get me wrong, you'll still need to do workouts that keep your body guessing but you won't have to do a major overhaul with each workout. Just a new order of exercises, or a couple of different exercises, or changing their lengths, intensity, or frequency, or even the equipment used, will do the trick. This is when you might also enjoy following a rotation that meets those requirements, or line up some DVD workouts that do the same, or even put together your own plan to follow (you can hire a trainer to do this for you if you are not sure).

But for now you are saying that you are getting amazing results....and we never want to mess with amazing results so keep up the great work :)

Thank you for taking the time to respond so quickly and helping me out. I am sure you are very busy and you give so much here it amazing. I keep up what i am doing for now.. till i feel i need that change.
