Question on Posting

I'm new to this and I was wondering if I did this right. Earlier I posted regarding High School Reunion and some of you nice gals had some questions regarding clean eating. So I went back into the original post and posted an answer. Was this the correct way to do this?

Is there a better way so that folks see my answer or when people ask questions do they usually go back into the original post to see if there questions were answered?

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm confusing myself.
