Question for P90X'ers who use the workout tower...

Is this piece of equipment portable? I want to buy one but would have to store it in my study and haul it into the living room (my workout area) each time I worked out. Is this easily done by one person, or is that going to be an upper-body workout in itself?:p

TIA -

It's rather ungainly, though not as heavy as I thought. You could get some of those furniture sliders that you put under the legs of sofas and under huge cabinets or even appliances that allow you to slide heavy furniture with ease. They sell sets of them on QVC, but I've seen something similar things at Walmart. Just be sure to remove them before you use the tower (don't get lazy and leave them under the unit), or the tower may slide when you don't want it to.

Kathryn, I never would have thought of the furniture sliders - great idea!

Tamikka, thanks for your suggestion - I ordered the Door Gym but it doesn't work in ANY of my doorways. I'm in an old (built in the 1920s) apartment building and we have extra wide doorways with multi-layered mouldings all over; some of the doorways are arched. I was so frustrated when the Door Gym came - I put it together and then it didn't work at all in my place.

So...now I have to convince DH that I'll really use the tower and it's not just going to gather dust.
