Hi everyone. Here's my situation. My husband and I looking at going to Jamaica in March as a second honeymoon. We never really had a first as we were broke. I really would like to lose some fat around my middle area before going. My question is this. Since I work at home with a very sedentary job (medical transcription) is it okay for me to workout for 1 1/2 to 2 hours per day. I would split this up by doing 1 hour in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. If I do this, what type of workouts would be best. I'm not a runner, so please don't tell me to run. I can walk, however.
I know my diet may have something to do with this, but honestly since I started working at home as opposed to working in the clinic is when the fat came on. I actually only gained 2 pounds since working at home, but have gained inches all over. I'm sure it is more because of my sedentary work as oppoesed to diet. I eat much cleaner now than I did when I worked in the clinic, but I still look worse than I did then. I appreciate any opinions or even rotations. I don't want to have burnout, but working out for 1 hour per day is just not really doing much. I think I need to get up and move more.
Thanks, Kelley
