Question about swimsuits - boardshorts

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me some good places to buy boardshorts. I saw that someone had mentioned Patagonia, which I checked out and might buy. But they don't have tops to go with them, so if you did buy one of the, where'd you buy the top? I went to the mall and had a very hard time finding a bathing suit I liked, and think the board short is the best route. Thanks!
 
If you can find a Patagonia dealer near you they can order the top for you. The reason I know this is because I tried this route. However, my dealer was having trouble with their account with Watergirl (a subsidiary of Patagonia) and I finally just ordered the suit and the boardshorts (I ran out of time since we're moving in just a week or so and I HAD to have it en route to our new house). Ridiculous, I know, but I'd done a ton of online searching and just couldn't find anything else that I liked.

Another idea...Walmart or Target. Just something else to consider. It won't be Patagonia quality but it's worth a try.

I got a catalogue in the mail called Athletica. I love it. They have great stuff and lots of cute board shorts. They probably have a website. Try Athletica.com.
 
Do you have any more info on athletica? I couldn't find them at athletica.com. I'd be interested to see what they have.

Thanks for everyone's post! I checked out Athetic, and they didn't have much of a selection on line for swimsuits, so I think I need to get their catalog. I might end up just buying the bikini and board short from watergirl, but I hope I find a cheaper solution before I take that plunge!
 
OH sorry, Athleta. You should get the catalogue. They don't have much selection for suits but the suits they have look cool. Some of them are even reversible. I think you would like to look at the stuff in the catalogue. Good luck!!
